to each there own 4real, but i thought cloverfield was really good. It took me a while to get use to the whole camcorder thing but after a while i was coo, and was able to get into the movie. In fact i think the camcorder made the movie more realistic, made u feel like u were in the action, and if anything, the movie was suspenseful as hell. i didnt kno what the damn monster looked like till like damn near the middle/end, and to be a monster/horror movie or whatever, i felt that it incorporated comedy into the movie well, shit was funny and suspenseful... the shit took in like 42 million and it only cost 25 million to make! thats how u make $$$ fo'real. anywayz... i just wanted to put my input in... i reccommend it 4 anyone who hasnt seen it yet... different, but good

Cloverfield was trash. The sad thing is, the movie itself was good, but without a single explanation of why the fuck this giant beast was roaming through the city, along with a "we forgot to write an ending" wrap-up, I can't give it any love. When the joint was done, the theater was silent. Folks just got up and left. They had a good thing going, but they didn't give it the knock out punch.

plz use the search button...i also made a thread on this and i thought the movie was good as hell, unfortunately its one of those movies that some people like and some dont...more or less the one who dont like it are the ones who dont believe in commom sense in worst case scenarios...THE MOVIE WAS DONE FROM A POV...it was a story within a story of a guy who was leaving to japan and have dealings with his love life when all of a sudden BOOM!!!!, crisis strike as SOME THING destroys the city and everyone is in panic...and as the story goes on its showing from the perspective of the people who run to survive from a crisis (just like the japs in GODZILLA)without any knowledge of what they're running from but only knowing they dont want to be where they are right now....not some scientist and his crack team of nerd buddies who help the military find out what it is/what it wants/and how to kill it within the time frame of the movie.......end of discussion

PS: If you were in that same situation if any would rather try to get away from "it" asap or run to the nearest scientist or library to try and figure it out yourself?

I looked at the movie like...tha fuck? You run around all night in a got damn godzilla flick and you never, ever ask for a fucking weapon? Gun? Spear? Nailfile or fucking nothing? White people....was the pussy that good? And.....and.....you run all fucking night to let the monster overtake you! And you get barbecued in the nuc strike?
