you dont follow baseball much do you? Mcguire got out of baseball when the heat was getting closer to him. Then he pleaded the 5th when he was put before the committee. All these players played in the juiced era. The problem with bond is that he broke one of most prestigious records in the game. Bonds was first ballot HOF before the roids the cloud of the roids may tarnish that though.

Before you try and play the muufuckin' race card you should keep up with current events in the Sports World, McGwire has progressively gotten LESS Hall of Fame votes each yr. he has been eligible for a HoF Vote, he got less Votes this year AND the HoF Voters selected a Black Man-Jim Rice that had lesser Stats than McGwire, but was thought to be "clean" by the Voters and thought to have played his career free of Steroids.

Andre Dawson is another player that had lesser Stats that McGwire that the HoF might take a closer look at that had a "clean" career.

Get mad all you want, but if the HoF Voters are willing to "do a cracka" like McGwire, then they're gonna do Barry Bonds in some sort of way.

I agree, pro baseball needs to address the issue of PED's seriously and stop turning a blind eye. The hypocrisy is unreal.

However, Marion Jones admitted to years of PED use, and obviously lied about it for years as well. She also admitted to lying during the BALCO investigation and the check-fraud case. The six-months she served in jail was for perjury relating to the check-fraud csae. No one "shit on" her but herself.

Thank you!!! People seem to forget that the record Bonds broke was owned by Hank Aaron NOT Babe Ruth anymore! The White players people bring up were already retired and the others (Clemens, Giambi) are being shunned. Giambi has at least admitted it and people have started to forgive him because he has. Clemens on the other hand is a lost cause.

Any brother that would sell out his own should be shot!

What is up with the race shit? It don't matter. Fuck Bonds and McGwire. Both did roids and many more during that time and I say both should never see a hint of the Hall of Fame. Don't say McGwire hasn't been shitted on because he has. They made him look like a dumbass on live TV as he sweated his ass off, declining to answer all questions.

McGwire didn't testify (and lie) in front of a Grand Jury like Bonds and Jones did. He didn't even lie in front of Congress (like Clemens). He basically pleaded the 5th. Smart.

(BTW, everyone knows who took drugs. It's just a matter of who actually broke the law in connection with it.)

That is not true. Have you watched how they did Clemens? That shit was straight career murder. The worst I've seen. What about Farve? They say he is a team killer after not getting in the playoffs. How about every ESPN reporter riding down on Romo, saying he is the reason the Cowboys aren't in the playoffs. Wake up and smell the coffee.

It isn't about race. Bonds lied and made everyone look like asses. I don't pity him or Jones. A cheater is a cheater, no matter what color.
