Backstory is that LSU misdiagnosed this brother and now he’s like this for life

After starting two games in the 2023 season as the team captain, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had to undergo a complex brain surgery on his cerebellum. In the surgery, Brooks Jr. suffered multiple strokes and was permanently disabled.
He’s suing LSU but it’s good to see he’s in good spirits

Back in 2022 and 2023, Greg Brooks Jr. played for LSU. After starting two games in the 2023 season as the team captain, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had to undergo a complex brain surgery on his cerebellum. In the surgery, Brooks Jr. suffered multiple strokes and was permanently disabled.

Brooks filed a lawsuit alleging multiple claims of medical malpractice and general negligence against LSU and Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. On Tuesday, May 27, an exception hearing took place at the 19th Judicial District Court to decide how to proceed with the lawsuit.

Brooks’ lawyers argued that certain claims against LSU were not medical malpractice in nature, but rather general negligence, asking the court to let them move forward without what’s called a medical review panel. Medical review panels happen before a lawsuit can proceed and evaluate whether or not the claim is medical malpractice.

Judge Tiffany Foxworth-Roberts agreed with Brooks’ lawyers and ruled that Greg Brooks Jr. can move forward with his negligence claims against LSU and its athletic trainer, Owen Stanley without having to first go through a medical review panel.

Lol. Cause you might cry when you watch the video.

You notice these white coaches will act like father figures to black athletes, trying to turn them conservative. But the minute they have no more worth...they seem more like the deadbeat fathers that left them in the first place!!!!

That was the story of my small town majority white high school here in NC. Numerous black athletes only used for ticket sales at football and basketball games.
