I'm using Zyrtec-D Allergy & Congestion, 12 Hour, Extended Release Tablets

A spoonful of RAW honey (contains bee pollen) twice a day for about 3 months prior to allergy season and your body will develop a natural resistance to histamine.

You left out that the honey must be local (where YOU live)

I finally broke down and got the shots. Should have done it years ago. Been going on three years & I damn near forgot I had allergies. The worst part was the initial test they do to find out what your allergies are. You itch like hell for about 2 days.

you gotta get a perscription to get anything that would really work.

No you don't.

Was talking to my doc about it.

You can get Claritin D or Zyrtec D from the pharmacy, but it will only be a 10 day supply at a time that you have to sign for because of the Jesse and Walter White meth cookers.

It's not the histamine but the irritant of pollen, but like the op said it has to be local honey.

I take a generic version of Zyrtec. I take it daily starting in late January. The pills are cheap. You get 365 for $20. Works like a charm.

I take Azelastine HCI Nasal Solution (Nasal Spray), or Flonase nasal spray.
I also take Allergy Pills - Zyrtec, Alleroff, Fexofenadine, Diphenhydramine - It doesn't matter which one you take for as long as it has 180mg of hydrochloride in it.

Nasonex and allegra. Benedryl when I have immediate symptoms. But benedryl puts me down for no less than 5 hours. Even if I take one. Takes me about 2 hours to fully wake up from that nap too.
