The problem isnt Alicia or Swizz obut the antiquated matrimonial laws in this country that allows you to marry with no problem but forces you to take months to get a divorce and in some cases you have to be separated for a year before you can get a formal divorce -
The divorce laws in this country should be simple and universal - you want out - you get out but the financial issues should be solved as a separate case - and a lien put against assets until the financial settlement is final -
That way all the moralist cant say - well he was still married, he was separated but still married - he probably was negotiating the terms and trust me the divorce attorneys take as much of the pound of flesh out of the deal as they can -

For instance I'm about to get divorced, File at the beginning of this month. My soon to be ex and I have been having issues and really been emotionally separated for well over a year.
She been doing her thing and I started doing my thing around Nov. of last yr. with an ex of mine. Because my wife and I were basically separated with no chance of reconciliation, the woman I started seeing can't be seen as a home wrecker. She did develop reservations that I was still technically married and we addressed that by me deciding to slow shit down before we made unnecessary mistakes which would in turn cause unnecessary drama.
