Alfonso Ribeiro explains playing Carlton

First off, people are extreme assholes to famous people. People act as if these famous people are the people who they portrayed while acting, which is not the case.

In the movie A Lowdown Dirty shame, when Jada Pinkett punched the actor from General hospital because of something he did while acting on the show I thought it was funny, I had no idea motherfuckers did that shit in real life.

From Carlton, to urkel, to screech, you name it, those were characters those people played. When you see them on the street, say "hey, what's up. You're the guy who played blank"

I saw Roland Martin at the Cincinnati Music Festival last year and I was like "yo what's up?" I gave him dap and kept it pushing.

It's people who don't know how to act that cause actors to have a visceral reaction to what was one of their proudest creative moments and it's a damn shame.

Kiefer Sutherland talked about how people still hate on him because of his role in A time to kill. Every one has said hes a good dude for the most part and hes had many roles since then. Dude is Canadian..he cant be racist...lol
