Album or CD you wish you could find but can't

I was reading this site http://www.amazon.com/Favorite-albu...Fx96T5CZYCDQKK/TxKK6DUVHARQUG/3/?tag=vp314-20

and thought I would pose the question here. What is one of your favorite artist or album that wish you could find but can't. For me its

1. SOS Band "Sands of Time" I have been looking for this CD for 5 years and I am not willing to spend $75 for it.

2. Isley Brothers "Grand Slam"

3. Cameo "Alligator Women" CD sells for $50 if you can find it

This is my short list but there are many others. Whats on your search list.

I have Alligator women and Grand Slam on wax. I just digitize them as MP3s. Strange Cameo stuff is rather expensive. I saw We All Know Who We Are on CD somewhere for a lot of money. I guess the youngins' are rediscovering it.

The Akinyele album with the Cartoon bitch on the front.

I have all three of those albums on vinyl ....

If you love music like i love music you should invest in a turntable. Because those albums on vinyl are always on Ebay.

1) Herbie Hancock, Fat Albert Rotunda. The sound track from the 1969 NBC Fat Albert TV show pilot. Contains the original "Tell Me A Bedtime Story".
2) Sharon Redd, Ula Hedwig And Charlotte Crossley, Formerly Of The Harlettes
An obscure 1977 disco album, of ex Bette Midler back up singers. I only want it for the unusual version of Herbie Hancock’s Maiden Voyage.
3) Charles Earland Intensity - 1972. Lee Morgan's last recording. He supposedly left the studio and got shot by some women.
4) Kool and the Gang The Force CD
5) Ronnie Laws Pressure Sensitive CD

No, the CD is not the original album. Hancock was on Atlantic at the time, in between Blue Note and Columbia. Atlantic (now part of Time Warner) never released it in the original format.

Local D.C artist Terry Tate i believe the song is I found the girl?
or Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway live holla

I wish I could find another vinyl copy of Grover Washington, Jr's "A Secret Place"
or, even better, the original pressing of the cd which is out of print.

i was downloading off newsgroups long time ago and im sure i have the rest of the tracks but i think i somehow filed the files elsewhere and its hard to track down. i just realized. usually im good with organization, but this one is fucked up. so just take these for now. im sure i'll run into a solution soon.

Re: Album or CD you wish you could find but can't

Aura's album with the cut, "Thats where you'll find me" hard to find

There's an obscure single and artist that I used to hear down south back in the mid 80's called "As the wind blows" by Tawanda Jordan I think. I've been looking for this for 20 years. If my sister hadn't reminded me that she loved the song too, I'd swear I had imagined it. I haven't been able to find even a clue of its existence since then.

I always wanted to hear the Schoolly D album. I think it was called PSK or something like that. It was supposed to be the first "gangsta" rap album, so I've always wondered what the lyrical content was like.

I saw alot of those albums on blogs.I posted the links to the blogs in this Post Your Links thread but good post.
