Airplane etiquette......who gets 2 armrests?

I always figured since the person sitting in the middle has the most uncomfortable position....that they get to use both armrests....and the other passengers to the left and right utilize one armrest.

I can't lie, If I'm in the middle and the persons is white, I'm deebo'n shit. White ppl not gonna challenge you. If it's a black dude, I show respect and act accordingly.

I am oblivious to my size so accidentally I do things like take both armrests, but people rarely say anything so I don't notice until way afterwards

Middle is the worst seat, they can keep the armrests. It's window or nothing, shoulders too wide for the other two.

It depends on the situation and who you're sitting next too....if I'm in the seat first I'm using what's there and getting comfortable .

I'm usually with the first, but white guys stay aggressive like they own the plane. Ex. Flying back from a work trip around noon on a Friday and the white guy next to me was applying elbow pressure for the armrest. We were still boarding. I turned and said we're not gonna play this game - you either relax or I'm gonna make sure you relax. Let me know how you want this to go - I got the armrest. He bitched out and didn't look my way. Ex.2 a bro sat next me on a similar flight and we both laughed at how we didn't have a shot at sharing the armrest. One of us moved into an open seat, but it was cool. No aggressive shit, just you can have it bc we're not about to be touching elbows n shit.
