Can't wait...all of the prefights are on HDNET..this card is off the hook. I was debating between UFC or this one..guess i'm getting both.

Brett Cooper vs. Patrick Speight
Round 1
Cooper, sporting a large grin, paws out a lazy jab. Speight tries to connect with some low kicks but he falls short. A left hook lead from Speight finds a home on the jaw of Cooper. Cooper gets busy with his hands and lands a combo. Speight answers with a counter right. Cooper connects with a right hand on the heels of a stiff jab. To the body goes Cooper with a digging left hook. At the midway point of the round, a hard right lands for Cooper. Speight lands a beautiful jab. Speight pieces together a nice left and a right in quick succession, followed by a low kick. Cooper keeps up with his opponent’s pace with two hard right hand leads. Speight drops levels for a single and ends up pulling guard. Cooper gets to his feet and kicks the legs of his grounded opponent.

Round 2
Cooper stays with his jab to start round two. Speight gets busy with his jab as well, but he seems content to counter with his left hook. Speight, with blood trickling from his nose, gets hit with a hard body shot. Speight slips and Cooper takes the top position on the ground. Cooper, on top in half guard, works elbows and punches to the head with his left hand. Speight gets to guard and goes high with his hips in search of a triangle. Cooper stuffs it and hits the ribs with his right hand. Speight goes to a rubber guard, but Cooper has none of it. He stands and invites his opponent to follow. Cooper lands a hard right uppercut that puts Speight down for the count. Referee Doc Hamilton saves Speight at 4:10 of the second frame.

Albert Rios vs. Antonio Duarte
Round 1
Rios shoots a single leg and gets it after a brief struggle. Duarte gets back to his feet and takes the center of the ring. Rios fires a one-two that falls just short. The fighters clash leg kicks, canceling each other. Duarte lands a clean right hand that knocks Rios to the floor. They scramble on the ground for positioning and end up back on their feet. Rios picks Duarte up and deposits him on the canvas with a body lock. Duarte sweeps and takes the top position, where he lands a few punches. Rios stands and is caught in a guillotine. Showing good defense, Rios escapes but give up north-south position in the process. Rios gets to his feet and samples a kick to the thigh for his effort. Duarte’s footwork is crisp as the first frame closes.

Round 2
From the clinch, Duarte connects a knee to the body of Rios. A left hook leads scores for Duarte. To the lower body goes Duarte with two kicks. Duarte circles around the ring and is taken down by a Rios single. Rios, in side-control, attempts to transition to his opponent’s back, but fails. Duarte gets to a standing position and absorbs a hard kick to his lead leg. And another. A nice jab from Rios cracks the chin. The action has slowed a touch after a furious pace to start the bout. Duarte counters a low kick with a right straight that lands. Rios drops levels for a takedown, but Duarte stuffs it against the ropes.

Round 3
The fighters come out slugging to kick off the final frame. Rios gets busy with low kicks. Just when it looked like Duarte was starting to gain momentum, Rios connects with a left that backs his opponent off. Duarte scores with an uppercut to the chin. Rios ducks under a loaded-up right hand but he can’t finish a single. Rios switches to a double, but Duarte is game. Now in the center of the ring with 60 seconds remaining, both fighters land glancing leather. A low kick from Duarte is checked in the final seconds.

All three official judges see the bout 29-28 for Albert Rios.

Bao Quach vs. L.C. Davis
Round 1
Davis cracks an off-balance Quach with a right hand. The fight briefly hits the ground with Quach holding a guillotine before both fighters stand. A standing elbow from Quach finds its target. Davis fails on a single leg, but gets vengeance with a powerful double as he lifts Quach into the air and deposits him on the floor. Quach looks for an armbar before taking the top position. He mounts Davis and hits the head with his right hand. Right elbows follow. Quach connects with two hard elbows that prompt Davis to give turn over. Quach locks on a rear-naked choke, but he can’t finish in time. The horn sounds with Quach heeling the liver while applying the choke.

Round 2
Davis scores with a right hand before being taken down. Quach moves to side control and almost secures an armbar before being forced back to half guard. Quach advances to the mount, where he wastes no time in going back to the elbows. Quach gives up position on an armbar attempt. Davis, now in Quach’s guard, throws a left elbow of his own. Quach goes for a kimura and uses the hold to get to his knees. Davis absolutely tees off with punches that rock Quach. Bao Quach gets to his feet and holds the ropes to defend another takedown. Referee Doc Hamilton issues a warning for the foul. Davis lands knees to the body from the clinch as time expires.

Round 3
A left cross connects for Davis to start the final stanza. Davis gets a takedown into Quach’s guard. The IFL veteran elbows the head and punches the body. Quach gets to his knees and defends a D’Arce choke before scoring a single of his own. Davis gets back to his feet and is drug back to the canvas. Davis stands and grabs the ropes, but it doesn’t stop Quach from muscling him to the ground. Hamilton issues a warning to both men. Davis executes a slick trip and ends up in Quach’s guard. Davis tees off with punches and elbows from both arms. Davis has taken over the fight with 90 seconds remaining. Quach shows signs of punishment as he bleeds under his left eye. Quach wrestles to his knees but he is firmly controlled by Davis, who keeps his base and punches the body.
