here's the situation:

i have a house that i recieved in probate. (my father did not leave a will) on the deed to this house is me (26), two sisters(15, 16), and two brothers(10,11). the house was left in bad shape.when it was left it had $3000 worth of back taxes on it. it needs new windows, the whole kitchen needs to be redone and there is a small hole in the roof. the assesmant on this house is about 40 thousand dollars. now i want to get a loan on the house. to fix it up and debt consolidation. to do this i hve to go thru my bros and sisters mother and i can see lready shes not cooperating. she talking about how much shes gonna get. mind you im the only one paying the back taxes and they wont help a bit and dont even live in the same state. im just asking opinons, advice and help on the situation.
 
Sticky situation. I think a sale is going the be the most peaceful way out of the situation. If you want the property, they could always sell it to you.

Some will say, "Legally you can sue to do this or sue to do that..etc." No one wins in court. Most of the time, even if you win, you have lost.

There are just too many people involved. When an inheirtance is involved , most people start counting the money and mentally spending it before it is even in their hands.
 
Sell it to an investor for a supper low price that will turn around and split the profits with you. PM me(cause I won't think to look back in here), let me know where you are and I might can find one for you are send a few in your direction.

It is better for you to just get away from it. If you desire to get into the RE game take those funds and use them to get in else where.

If I understand this correctly, your home is out of probate and only the five of you are the owners. What I did not get was if your home is free and clear. I can do your loan if it is ether free and clear or the loan to debt is low. Hollar (PM) and let us talk business. LICK
