adrian dantley makes it plain

One of the sickest jump shots I've ever seen. I wasn't a fan of the Detroit Bad Boys era, but Adrian Dantley and Vinnie Johnson I respected for their work ethic and fundamentals.

He was a great player....with the foundation that many players today do not have.

There use to be a big high school tourney in Boston during the summer, called The Boston Shoot-Out.

Dantley came with DC his senior year....and tore it up.

54% FG 81% FT

Made his living at the free throw line. Which is why his FG % was high.

Played when the eras changed and still maintained his game!

coach dantley put in MAJOR work before he was with the detroit pistons.

if he had had a better coach when he joined the fakers, they probably would've had another banner hanging from the rafters.

Yeah I was about to post that....Liked him much better in Utah. Once he got to Detroit his best days as an ALL AROUND great basketball player were over. He was still a prolific scorer though

Not trying to derail, but on a side note, I remember being somewhat perplexed as a child when the Buffalo Braves let him go.
They could've had a lineup of Dantley, Bob McAdoo and Randy Smith. Not to forget they actually had Moses Malone for a moment as well. Back in those days, he was actually a PF
