Admit it: Clubbing is LAME

think of any chief keef video but instead dudes are wearing shirts that's how these young dudes be doin in the club..this man hugging shit where nigs arms are around each others necks singing the song together with their drinks or they smoke in their hand..i seen this shit at a few stripper events..nigs be there juss to drink/smoke and have singing sessions with each other:smh::smh::smh:..we be like yeah make sure u never invite these fags again

I saw this at a club...and I walked up to a chick and asked was I in a gay bar. I'm not a homophobe, but I didn't get showered, shaped up, and nicely dressed to be around dudes hugging each other and talking extremely close. I had a friend like that, and he doesn't get invited out anymore because women are thinking our crew is gay because this dude is all in my aura. You should never feel a dude's moisture of his breath when he's talking to you. I thought I was the only person that noticed this movement of "we too cool to be here, but we not too cool to mo down".

I fucks with day parties though--they usually a cross between an all out club + a lounge, usually a better vibe, the women are a lot more easy-going & laid back then they are at night events/clubs, slightly older crowd, you can have actual convo & dance also--I've hit day parties in DC (Cities, Barcode), ATL (Shout, Suite) at all them shits I had a ball-this past Labor Day weekend was in Houston, hit this day party at Hughes Hangor? I think?--shorty I met there just booked a flight to come see me next weekend--lol

Never liked the "clubs" ..per se....not the type of place for introverts. But i used to fuck with the Rink (on 87th) and Route (on KingDrive) a lot when i was a young teen. Mainly the Rink tho, the Route had too many bricks....which turned into too many fights. Both were club environments for young folks. That was back in the 90s when i buying see-thru/colored cassette mix-tapes and footworking to them shits to impress the young hoes. I have more memories from the Rink than i do from the adult clubs that ive been to .

Most Men go to the club with the hopes of getting bitches. ANd if they say they aint..they lying. Most have sex on their minds. You have some that may want to have fun....those that really like music and partying...but for the most part 85% of the dudes there are thinking about fucking at one point or another.

I think it may vary with females tho. Some of them actually go to have fun, attention whore, have tricks kiss their asses and make them feel like theyre worth a shit via buying them drinks, etc etc.

At the age of 29...i would rather go to a small lounge or sports bar. Something that aint too loud and crazy. Large crowds aint my thing.

. Love for all the peoples and folks in the struggle trying to do the right thing and evolve though:cool: I cosign this thread. I enjoyed clubbing in and around Chicago in its heyday. Especially when House Music reigned; man the ladies came to dance and have a good time!:yes::yes:.

cosign. i used to travel to Chi and have a ball.

Then when a slow song came on, grab a foine chick and ballroom Detroit style. It was on! Folks would jump up and show off the "Chicago style of stepping".

You had to have confidence to wall across a room and ask a chic to dance. It was an art to scan the room and ask the right honey. Gettin' shot down was a humbling experience, but fuck it, you moved on to the next honey.

Man, that shit used to make me feel like EVERYBODY in the club was watching me get shot down!

During my early 20's, I was alllll about hitting the club scene. While I was in college, I used to hit up Memphis on a regular basis. Pulled a few broads from Mirage, and lawd, the shit we used to get into at Denim and Diamonds on a Sunday night during the summer! Never did make it back to campus before 6 am. lol

When I moved to Atlanta, I was like a kid in a candy story with all the options I had: Mirage, 112, Kaya/Vision, The Bounce (don't trip; that hood spot was jumping on a Saturday night). I wound up doing street team promotions for Metro Boyz Entertainment, so of course I used to get into all the spots they did for free (Havana on Mondays, Dragonfly on Saturdays), and in the process, I got to know other promoters and I would get into their spots for free as well. When I was actually working outside the clubs, I used to see some of the funniest shit ever. I would be standing there like "did that just really happen?" LMAO!!!!

As I got further into my 20's, the club scene just started getting played out. I would be in there downing drinks, trying to get hype, and eventually was like "the fuck I'm doing in here?" Ironically, I met my wife in a club back in 06 (House in The Underground).

As someone said earlier, if you go to a club without the expectation of getting some ass, then your night will go much better. If you do get some, consider it a bonus. If not, then you can say you had a good time.

My one regret is that I didn't find out about this reggae club called The Royal Peacock when I first moved here. By the time I finally made it to that spot, I was a bit older and not really up for being around that young type of crowd. Now had I discovered it when I first moved here, it would have been a much different story. lol

When I first moved to the A, I was tripping when I saw that they really didn't play slow songs. I'm standing around, waiting for one to come on so I can palm some ass and see if the broad is wearing panties or not. lmao!
