Mr.Jody (I think) posted some software that supposedly let you protect the AUDIO CD's that you make
That's about the closest thing I can think of
He might know of a software to protect DVD's too

css encryption (copy protection) will not embed onto consumer (blue dye) dvd-r media. The only way to add copy protection onto a dvd is in the authoring going onto a DLT Drive (Digital Linear Tape). Once you do that, then you can take the tape to a replication house and they will glass master it.

So I'm taking it that it doesn't exsist.

It Doesnt Exist for Home DVD/R's

You gotta get it Professionally Replicated inorder to have Copy Protection... But even that doesnt work anymore. They have programs for FREE on the Internet that can bypass the protection code.

Im pretty sure MACINTOSH users know of MAC THE RIPPER and ROXIO POPCORN.

There are program that will take the protection clean off your homemade DVD's so you still don't stand a chance. Niggas know how to override that shit.

Cmon cuz...let it go....Niggaz wanna steal the white man shit and protect his own....thats the funniest shit I've heard all day

I was looking for something like this myself, mainly to protect my work from the average joe.....not the hacker/cracker group. I'll keep tabs on this thread because there has to be some sort of simple encryption.
