Latinos have influxed baseball for the most part because at some point it was decided that Americas sport would not be over run by black Americans. That's why they shut down all the diamonds in the inner cities and stopped funding little league in the inner city. They black topped over the diamonds and put basketball courts up.

Adam Jones' jersey is another I need to pick up. I'm going to start a personal collection of the jersey's of black athletes. athletes who are also POC, and should a white athlete (Megan Rapinoe counts?) who are not afraid to use their platform, despite the potential consequences, to speak on the injustices faced by black people and other POC under the guise of a so called free nation.

Adam dead on with everything he said. I knew blacks in baseball was low but didn't know it was that low. I never talk baseball cause I barely know anybody who watches it. Black people just don't support baseball unless our kids are playing.
