What's up BGOL family,

I went this meeting for ACN a telecommunications company. They seem to be legit but am not sure if I'm willing to invest in the time and money for this opportunity. In the meeting they said that you should sign yourself up for as many services as possible to start making money back but you have to invest $450.00 of your money to receive the start up kit(business assistant $29.99/month fixed cost in opening business) which includes all the things you need to help you start. They have this phone that is out that actually let's you view the person you are calling kind of like a webcam but with much better picture.

The main two reps that were speaking at the meeting one used to be an attorney and she started with ACN part time to create more time to spend with her son and husband. The other rep started as a college student he is now in President's club status (according to his business card that he gave out.) They had some of the regular reps there who received awards/certificates for doing a good job. This one lady claims to have been working at Bank of America for 13 years and finally quit after working with ACN.

I am not 100% sure about this company and if I should invest the money and time in something like this been doing some research and some people have said they had issues with this company after being in it for a couple of years but all the videos and the way everything is set up seems to be legit.

Does anyone know about ACN or is doing business with them if so how was your experience and do you recommend this as a product to invest in and can you make money doing this ?

Please let me know anything good or bad.

Thanks,
Mawee

The majority of the revenue is made from members recruiting new people (like you) to pay the $450.

The majority of funds you will make will be from recruiting other members to signup for $450.

Ask the guy who invited you to the meeting to show you how much he's made so far (specifically how much he made through signing up new people and how much he made from people using the actual services). That should clear things up.

I pretty much stopped reading after this right here. Don't do it man, save your money because IN A RECESSION no one will splurge on stuff like this. Trust.

Did this while in college back in 1994. Too many people in and out. No one dedicated to bringing people to the meetings at $450 a pop. Think about it? Do really think your peeps ready to fork over $450 right now in this economy?

I know this topic is old but I just ran across it.. this is nothing but a newer pyramid scheme that actually generates revenue buy charging its new members. They disguise this by being retailers of crap no one has a need for.. their new BIG thing now is a video phone.. who the FUCK needs a $300 video phone when you can just get a $20 webcam?? They know that shit aint gonna sell.

I think network marketing is the future IF done right.

As far as ACN its a company that IMO has had its run. With 5links providing a similar service with a wider range of sub-services, you should think about who you join up with and which one is a better fit.

I feel what ruins a lot of peoples potential when it comes to network marketing is that they dont really seek a company that fits with them. they get invited to a biz op hear the pitch and it seems cool but after they sign up they may realize that they really are not in sync with the company.

Good example my wife went thru like 3 companies avon, herbalife mellaluca I could care less so long as she wasn't spending too much money. Than she fell into the company we with and that was a cause I could rally behind (plus the money and perks are cool.)

So just make sure that the company you join has a good SALABLE foundation and product and is something that resonates with your being.

Well, I'll be the first to tell you that if there's in intro fee, and monthly membership fee that you shouldn't do it. I'm been through that and learned the hard way, both in person and online. And the world wasn't in as bad a situation as it is now financially. There's so much more you can do with even the $450 you're considering investing into that now. For example, you can search google and find a lot of franchises that are under $100 to start. I'm not guaranteeing you success in any of them, but you might come across one that you can work the hinges off. With a bit more money, and maybe even a partner, I know for sure that a Space Walk/Moon Bounce business is like $3,000, and everyone I know down here that does it is making a damn good living. One guy did actually quit his job and opened a physical location. He started with one unit, and now he has like 20 in all types of designs. His company enjoys a waiting list, whereas customers need to call a month in advance to schedule one, and pay a non-refundable deposit. he keeps a few for people that need one like the next day, but they get heavily taxed.

But, and I said I wasn't gonna do this on here, just puttin it out there though, if you're really wanting to deal with cell phone service, you might wanna consider http://www.solavei.com/plex504. I've been in a minute, and the main thing I liked about it was that there is no membership intro fee, nor a monthly service fee. All you do is pick a plan, starting at $29 a month, unlimited talk and text. It's on the T-Mobile network, and they pay you $5 per person you sign up. The main thing they push is getting your phone service free. Example, if you're on the $29 plan, you sign up 6 people and your bill is covered. After that, everyone you sign will translate into monthly cash. That's the main pitch I give to people, because even with a $50 a month plan, the average person spends $600 a year renting cell service. This way if you never recruit another person you save that money yearly. But your downline will more than likely continue to work toward getting theirs free, so you will still make more money. They make it easier because you can order sim cards and have them in your pocket at all times. And it definitely helps to have cheap phones that if need be you can afford to give away. Best example, the $20 flip (T-Mobile) phones you can buy from a Dollar General or Wal-Mart. And for my team, since my wife and I are wholesalers, I can get you phones for much cheaper than the store.

Let me be clear, I'm not asking, let alone pressuring you or anyone else to join. I only mentioned it because of the topic. I'm not looking for any backlash. That's why I only deal with business stuff in the business forum. GOD bless - 100

I agree with a lot you have in here Bruh. The training is key and it must come from the best in the business.
