a question about shutting down a female

I was discussing this with a female friend.

Awhile back there was a cute female who i took class with and i see her in the gym on a regular basis. I never communicated with her until one day in the gym i approached her. she game me her number and she told me to call her.Little did i know she gave me a fake number. The whole time there was a female who was just playing around with me talking to me for the day cause she was bored. A day later she mentioned to me she dont know who i'am and who this girl was. She just wanted to go along with the and pretend, so all day i thought i was talking to this chick from the gym. syht pissed me the fuck off.

Now few weeks ago i was in my stats and research class and the clas was assigned a two person group project. This same chick from the gym came to class late and I was working solo because the class size was uneven. Shorty came to me and wanted to work with me, but I just told the chick straight up "I dont work with lames". she was just shocked and went to the back.

Most of my friends said this was fucked up thing to do. Im not that kind of person to disrespect people like that, but i just had to protect my manhood, my dignity and my self-esteem. did i handle the situation right?

What you did was fucked up. As a man you never catch feelings and become emotional over a female. What you did was spiteful. The cool thing would have been to ask her why she gave you a wrong number? I would have said "Yeah you can work with me. You know what.. I met you in the gym a few weeks ago and you gave me the wrong number (while Smiling)". You could have transposed the number wrong.

Now if she did give you the wrong number she was not being malicious about it. Some people have a hard time turning people down and may feel awkward doing it. Her giving you the wrong number was not really a big deal. She may just was not feeling you but was not comfortable telling you to your face.

Now what you did was waist an opportunity. Most of the best woman and pussy have turned men down the first time. I can count numerous times I have been rejected initially but ended up hitting. From working with you she would have got to know you and would have thought about when she gave you the wrong number.
