Not having a father in the home can be just as good or bad as having a father in the home depending on the type of mother you have, her level of education, & her vocation. Some who have both parents in the home are still raised by "single" married parents because the father provides no direction & or structure nor has no information resource to share....

What would be on ya list of things you wish you knew as a 25 yr old man if youve made it to 50!

What about if you were 20 & you 40 now???
 
Get yourself an LLC. It costs $125-150 last time I checked. There is so much you can write off just by having that EI Number.

You can write off your internet/wifi, laptop, phone bill, gas and so much more. I just found out about the Keeper app. It keeps track of all of your write offs and will itemize it for your tax preparer.

You can get thousands back each year for that one time fee of $125

what better eating really means and why it's important.
Good education is not necessary...but helps with regard to choices.
Since everything in life has a tendency to change and therefore nothing in life is permanent, nothing stays the same. Roll with it.
 
I wish I had traveled to Brazil at 25 instead of dealing with these bitches here. A lot of stress would’ve never happened.

Also, cutting off people, situations and things who ain’t no good for you. My problem was hoping people and situations would change but never happened. It was a waste of time. It was a hard lesson. When you see people and situations aren’t changing move on to people and things who are about something.

I wish I was wiser with money. I wish I had stacked more paper at 25, Instead of buying luxury bullshit. As I got older and now making paper I don’t care for fancy shit. No BMW, no Gucci, gold chain, etc.

With the money I’m making now I can go into Savers, Goodwill and Salvation Army and buy Levi jeans and dry clean them.

I saw a YouTube video several years ago. I guy went to a Kia dealership and bought a car cash. He drove it to another dealership let's say a BMW or whatever and they offered him $7,000 to $9,000 less than he had just paid less than half an hour before.

I'm not saying you can't enjoy your BMW or your Lexus or whatever, but they don't have to be new

I NEVER pay more than $10k for a car... I've had Volvo's, Honda's, Lincoln's, Acura's, & currently have an Infinity.

Leaving the workforce to go get an MBA at directional state U is pointless, leaving to get that degree at Harvard/Yale/Chicago/Stanford/Northwestern/Notre Dame is an investment that can pay off 100x from the money you put in and the opportunity cost you sacrifice.
8) Every major city with professional college educated black folks has cliches, church cliches, corporate cliches, Greek org cliches, auxiliary org cliches (like Jack and Jill). It can be some bullshit but navigating them and playing the game can help your career and your paper.
9) Drinking and driving is dumb.
10) Do not take on other people’s burdens or responsibilities. Example, they’re kids, their problem. Their debts, their problem. They’re down and need someone to talk to? At the point they are draining your time and energy, they need to pay a professional to help them figure it out.

when i was 25, i was in my 3rd year of grad school. i already knew about the stock market, i just wasn't investing properly. so that i being said, i wish i had actually taken many courses on how to invest properly. specifically options trading. Wish i had started working out at that age instead of waiting till i was in my 30s.
