Colin Powell is a registered Republican. It would actually be a good move for Trump to nominate him because it would add credibility to his foreign and national defense policies. I don't think Colin Powell wants to be part of a Trump campaign/administration.

A guaranteed win would be a Clinton/Sanders ticket.

The people who would be impressed by Colin as her VP are people who won't vote for her no matter what.

Its the Sanders supporters she needs and has to appeal to.
