WASHINGTON– Rodney J. McIntyre, 45, has been charged with the rape and murder of his 17-year-old daughter, Ebony Franklin, after police revealed that the father’s semen was found in the girl’s body.

Ebony Franklin, whose body was found in an alley, planned to meet up with her father to spend the weekend with him, her mother told police.

“Ebony was dropped off in Columbia Heights to meet up with her father, but she was never seen by any other person ever again,” said Assistant U.S. Attorney Jocelyn Ballan*tine.

After murdering his daughter, McIntyre used his daughter’s cellphone to make calls and text messages to her mother in an effort to pin the murder on someone else.
