A few years ago, the WNBA was defined by legends like A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Candace Parker, Diana Taurasi, Elena Delle Donne, and Maya Moore. As some of these stars have stepped away, new talents have risen to take center stage—one of them being Napheesa Collier.

Collier’s journey has been one of continuous growth. After missing most of the 2022 season due to maternity leave, she returned with a renewed sense of focus and determination. Early in her career, she was a steady 15-point-per-game scorer, but over the past two seasons, she has elevated her game, averaging 20 points per contest. Her outstanding postseason performances helped lead the Minnesota Lynx back to the WNBA Finals for the first time in seven years.

Her fadeaway jumper has become a signature move—one that defenders may see coming but still struggle to stop. But Collier isn’t just a force on offense; her defensive impact earned her Defensive Player of the Year honors. On top of that, she added another Olympic gold medal to her résumé.

Beyond her WNBA success, Collier is also making waves off the court. She co-founded the Unrivaled League, providing an exciting new platform for women’s basketball. And just like in the WNBA, she’s dominating there too—leading the league in scoring and showcasing her competitive fire in the 1v1 tournament.
