Mid-Atlantic legend Sandy Scott ( real name Angus Mackay Scott), formerly one half of "The Flying Scotts" with his brother George, passed away after a battle with pancreatic cancer on Mar. 11, 2010. After retiring from the ring, Scott was a major player behind the scenes for Jim Crockett Promotions and World Championship Wrestling and a driving force behind Jim Cornette's Smoky Mountain Wrestling.
"Gentleman" Jerry Valiant (John Hill) also died on Mar. 11 from alzheimer's. He's best known as the replacement for "Handsome" Jimmy in the Valiant Brothers tag team in the WWWF. He was 68.
Corsia Joe (Francois Miquet) died March 14, 2010 at the age of 90. Joe was a 5 time NWA World tag champion (Mid America version) with his partner Corsica Jean (obviously they were The Corsicans)from 1957-59. They were also 2 times NWA Southern tag champs (Georgia version)in 1965.
Man, it's different seeing wrestlers actually die naturally.
