I'm about to start dating one. She stays down the street from me. Has just one child. 6 month. We aren't serious yet but i want a chick i aint gotta drive to all the time. shit i could walk to her house cuz she's so close.

But what should i expect?

And i have a few questions

single mothers at what point do you expect your boyfriend to start contributing to your child or do you wait for him to do it voluntarily?

Is it ok for a guy that your dating to whoop your child and if so at what point? Lets say ya'll marry would that be an exception?

If your boyfriend doesn't want your baby father in ya'll house what do you do or say?

Are you sure you want a relationship with the girl down the street? That's like living in a fish bowl. You say your not serious yet well but your about to be.

She can drop by anytime, she'll know when your home and probably know if you have company. Hell you may as well move her in. You say you could walk to her house...she can also walk to yours too. Tired of driving all the time? You may be driving more just to get some space.

Careful what you ask for you just might get it.

No i dont want anything serious but i mean after all i am dating a single mother...it's going to be more serious then dating a chick without one. They dont want men coming in and out of their kids lives so they choose wisely...so in a way i'ma have to play my serious cards rather i am or not.


And believe me one of the reasons i want her being that she's so close is because it's easier for me to manage. I'm rarely at home....between school, work, the gym and BGOL i'm rarely at home. And moving her in is a no no. But i need to know what should i do or say if that shit comes up. I can't just say "fuck you bitch" when she's down the street.

And anyways a lot of ya'll BGOL cats be claiming ya'll be having one night stands with birds...ya'll have to be taking some of them to ya'll home. And if so she'll know where ya'll live
 
Make sure that the single mother in question has all of their shots. Very important.

I would suggest feeding them twice a day, maybe three times on sunday, it is really up to your discretion.

Yeah, I knew a guy had one of them single mothers, had to buy a security fence, I don't know, have you looked into those things, you know that like buzz around their knecks when they try to run?

Exactly my point.

It's not my intent to discourage you, just to give you the other side of what you will be dealing with. Women can become very possessive (men too ladies) once a intimate relationship is established. She will likely become dependent upon you.

Plus you may also be living in the footsteps of the other man. That may not be that easy to deal with. How involved is the father? How does she feel about the father? Is it possible they could again become intimate? Him being involved the child will keep the two of them in touch with each other for a very long time.

What your about to do is not going to be easy so a mature approach will necessary. Either way I wish you the best with this decision and the questions are just beginning.

Do her a favour and stop playing games

If you don't wanna be serious than don't be and just leave her alone so she can find someone who doesn't make it seem like having a kid and having leprosy are the same thing

Well he take the kid and watches him....i dont know. I didn't know that was important for me to know as long as the nigga aint comin with that ignorant shit. And most people see my size and think twice. And if they become intimate i dont care...she's not my type. I like a chick that's confident about herself not just her looks, honest, supportive, respectful, reliable, responsible, understanding, encouraging...and trust me i'm not about to find that down the street. She falls short of a few of them and the few she falls short of are the most important ones. I already am kinda bored with her.

I'm 21 years old. I'm not looking for a relationship but to think that i'ma be waiting till i find my chick...i just want a fuck buddy basically but dont know how to do it considering she's so dam close to me.
