Tatyana Rhodes, who organized the Texas pool party that led to a McKinney cop slamming a teen to the ground, has started modeling.
The young Texas woman who organized the chaotic pool party that led to a McKinney cop resigning after he slammed a bikini-clad teen to the ground will get 15 more minutes of fame.

Tatyana Rhodes has become a model to "turn the negative attention" surrounding the encounter that sparked national outrage into a "positive jumpstart" into her new career, she announced in a statement Wednesday.

As a model, Tatyana is committed to using her exposure and fame to help bring about change in the community, as well as to show others you should never let negative events in your life keep you from pursuing your dreams," the statement said.

Rhodes — seen in the professional snapshots poolside in a tiny purple bikini — dominated airwaves this month after video surfaced of Cpl. Eric Casebolt slamming a girl to the ground, kneeling on her back, after pulling his gun on young men during a pool party.

She gave several interviews blasting the “out of control” cop for his violent behavior.

"He was just aggressive for no reason at all," she told WFAA-TV shortly after the story went viral. "It was horrible."

Photographer Tay Brown, who is based in Atlanta, told the Daily News he saw a star in the making during her TV interviews.

"The truth is she had already become famous," he said. "She had been on interviews — locally, nationally, everywhere. She was famous, just not in a positive way."

Tatyana Rhodes, who organized the Texas pool party that led to a McKinney cop slamming a teen to the ground, has started modeling.
The professional photographer swooped in on the opportunity to pursue the "stunning beauty," traveling to Texas to shoot her first photoshoot.

Rhodes, who did not immediately respond to requests for comment, dons hip-hugging, belly-bearing dresses in the series of photos released Wednesday.

"The results of the photoshoot were amazing images and the beginning of Tatyana's rise to model stardom," the statement said.

Brown, who runs "A.K.A. Tay Photography," has photographed VH1's "Love & HipHop Atlanta" reality stars Rasheeda and Kirk, rapper DJ Unk and hip-hop artist YoungBloodz.
