The restaurant said school-aged children were being dropped off by their parents at a nearby bounce park and the kids would eventually make their way into the Chick-fil-A. Management outlined "unacceptable behaviors" which have become common with the groups of unsupervised children, including loud conversations with explicit language, trashing the restaurant and its restrooms, disrespecting employees and conducting other unsafe behavior, including walking through the parking lot and drive-thru lane.

"Children and teens are learning to navigate the world free from supervision and often push the boundaries. We simply can’t let them push those boundaries anymore at our restaurant. We encourage you to talk to your children and ask about behaviors they have seen and perhaps participated in," they wrote.

I can't see this as being any different than what we did as kids.

I remember in Hempstead, Long Island we had a McDonald's right down from the high-school. They had to shut it down and move it farther away, and it's still the same sort of thing at the newer location.

Traveling the States and even to other countries I've noticed it's typically the same difference.

Kids gonna be kids.

You’re right, but these days parents don’t want to be parents and are on social trying to be just like their kids instead of checking em. I agree with Chick-Fil-A on this one.

That's what I was saying with my first post, but the main thing was this didn't need to be news. There's absolutely nothing different from what used to happen prior generations going on here for this to be worth reporting on.

I think there’s a lot of racism that’s going on behind this decision, especially at Chick-fil-A’s in the south

I actually agree with Chik-Fil-A and dont think it's racist at all. Teenagers (some, not all) dont have respect for authority these days and will try to step to the adult and fight them if they get checked or "embarrassed in front of their friends". This scares away adults and "paying customers" This is white and black...dont see anything behind it.

Some thing that I'm not understanding is the recent banning of kids going to weddings. I really don't get this. I had a friend of mine try to explain it to me and I still don't get it. If your kids are well behaved, i dont see the issue, but whatever :dunno:

Don't know if it's the actual wedding more than the reception. We had on our invitations that kids weren't allowed

Bad ass white kids

They should build a holding cell like at disney world and have a fat greasy guard there taunting them untill their parents pick them up. " You smell those nuggets and chicken strips? How bout them waffle fries they smell good don't they boy? You could've had Al that but you had to go and upset somebody and now youre here with me!" *Goes upstairs for a few minutes and comes back down with a combo meal and eats it in front of the detainee* " you hungry boy?' * munch smack gulp* well that's too bad ha ha ha!"

You ever run in to Rakim Eric B or Chuck D? Hempstead is not that big!

This is stupidest shit I’ve heard in a long time. So who’s buying the Chick-Fil-A white people? Maybe businesses don’t want to deal with rowdy kids period.

I have no problem with the reception (alcohol being involved..it makes sense) but I've seen people state and put on their actual invitations with NO kids at the wedding as well.

Normally I would agree, but these kids be deep as hell and unruly. They take over the establishment for a few hours. I've drove up to one and the drive through was packed. I couldn't understand why I went inside and there was no line. Kids was sitting in all the seats and standing. Some were play fighting, cussing, and drinking from the soda fountain with they own cups and water bottles lol. I didn't have an issue but I could see how an older adult or someone small in stature would be uncomfortable or intimidated. They are basically bad for business. They also had stuff all over the floor. The store manager was going back and forth with them getting mocked. Hardly any of them had ordered food.

Only difference I can say from growing up to now is the drugs or the type of.

My son works after-school at a movie theater.
The amount of times parents have dropped their kids off to see movies and they are like 14-16 yr olds in packs. Two incidents now he's told me of stories of kids overdosed in the bathrooms or in the theater on some kind of drug. No parents around. From what he described to me, sounds like fentanyl.

Had to call the police and the theater trying to keep it hush not wanting to be liable. But both incidents they were "flexicans" from what I recall. Not white or black.

listen here in my neighbor hood all the stores and gas stations from 3-4:30 only 2-kids are allowed in at a time...they all get to
fighting and stealing shit...

Anyone with kids probably realize that most parks cater to young kids under the age of 12 once they turn teens there is nothing for them to do unless you can afford to send them to some after school programs.

Kinda but we knew when, where and how to act in different places and this was true even in our nieghborhood where someone might tell or just call the police and I done did some shiiit but I believe it was how I did it is how I got away with most of it.

Where I'm at we was banned from Mcdonalds that was next to the projects,in highschool a Mcdonalds and what's crazy is certain playgrounds pad-lock the gates so the kids can't enjoy it but how many kids go to the park to play?right.
