Heard this old school jam on the radio tonight. Track was tight but I never knew the name of the group. Just found out their name tonight for the first time.

They are kind of a one hit wonder somewhat but this was a cold 90s jam. Had trouble finding it but finally dug it up. Most of the vids for this song were scrubbed from YouTube. Granted I was on my phone but still...

I kept getting this dude doing a cover. Cool cover and all but still not the original. Also was surprised to learn they sampled Michael Jackson's "I Can't Help It". Never really noticed that all these years.

I loved this track, reminds me of Junior High. Quintessential old school R&B right here

Yeah I remembered how they performed this on Family Matters one day and went searching for it and have been jamming it on the low for a few months now.

ya they rocked... didnt they remake "how deep is your love" i used to phugg with them tough.. good group....reminded me of tony toni tone

Damn this use to be the shit back in the day!!! Triple bitch post for this one!!:dance::dance::dance:

They had another song on this album called "1975". It was about his older sister shielding his body from gun fire and dying while saving his life in 1975. It's a mid tempo song, and it was one of the best cuts on this album. I can't find it nowhere.

EDIT: I don't think it was them. I'm thinking of another group, The Funky Poets. Nevermind.

Oh a DJ could straight clown with this in the mix. This is one of those songs made for DJs to have a ball with. Certain songs are just built to play with. Junior's Mama Used To Say and Groovin You by Harvey Mason are two that immediately come to mind.

And "Is It In?" by Jimmy Bo Horne.
