Ten days after being shot in the head, a 7-year-old girl in DeKalb County has died at the hospital, police confirmed Monday.

Mariasia Thomas was injured during a drive-by shooting while she sat on her couch inside her foster home along Satellite Boulevard on April 12, AJC.com previously reported. Around 11 p.m., three bullets hit the home’s front door, and four bullets went through two windows.

There’s something seriously wrong going on with these jackasses randomly shooting up neighborhoods in this area. It’s gotten beyond out of hand. Something needs to be done. But I can say the police have been doing great arresting most of these animals.

I remember a story about an elementary school age girl in Omaha, NE that was eating breakfast at her home before school in the morning. An AK-47 bullet from a shooting down the street hit her and she died there.
