6 Year Old Lost His Life Chasing A Basketball

:smh: Yeah I've been reading up on that for a few days on social media with people giving their input on who's to "blame". It was heartbreaking watching the buildup because you see the lil boy contemplating going to get the ball and you're saying to yourself "DONT DO IT DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!", he goes off screen then you hear tires screeching

Bruh, I turned off the video as soon as the ball went into the street.......

That street, while not quite "busy," mfkrs are moving so it may be a main or semi main road......

as a parent, I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my 6 yr old kid out to play unattended on a street like that.

How hard is it to get 2 stakes and some plastic film/ a tarp/ cheap fabric and block off the end of the driveway......? On some, "If the ball goes past here, come get an adult" shit.

But conversely.......

you don't have a license or insurance.......

and now you've struck and killed a child.....

why were on the road and in such a hurry in a residential area?!!

I can't be too harsh on the parents, but damn it mayne this shit is sad AF!!!

The parents said accidents happen often on that road because people are always driving fast like in the video, they said cars have ended up in their yard before after an accident.

Ok, given that information........

Why leave the kid playing alone? Like, in general, in the driveway at all?

I get it, a lot of parents today grew up one way......

But the way you grew up in the 80's/90's/ early 00's..... you can't raise kids that way today.

None of that works today,

You have to watch your kids

RIP, but I can't blame the driver. Those parked cars blocked her visibility. Plus, why the parents wasn't paying attention of their kid playing by a busy road.

Oh, I can

She had a suspended license, no insurance and p̶o̶t̶e̶n̶t̶i̶a̶l̶l̶y̶, DEFINITELY was speeding. Given the first 2 facts, she had no business driving a car.
