We knew it was happening! In October, the Daily Mail (and other outlets) reported that Hugh Grant was expecting his fourth child in four years… with his second baby-mama. Tinglan Hong was his first baby-mama, and she gave birth to Tabitha and Felix, born in 2011 and 2013 respectively. At the same time as Hugh was dealing with Tinglan, he also knocked up his more “official” girlfriend, Anna Eberstein. Eberstein gave birth to son John Mungo Grant in 2012. And now Anna has given birth again, and yet again it’s another Grant baby.
Hugh Grant has become a father for the fourth time after his Swedish girlfriend Anna Eberstein gave birth, MailOnline can reveal. The 55-year-old actor has gone from having no children to being a father of four in just four years. His fourth love child was born to Ms Eberstein, 37, on Wednesday, Swedish regional newspaper Sundsvall Tinding reported.
‘Anna Eberstein from Sundsvall has had her second child with film star Hugh Grant,’ it said. ‘The newest member of the family saw the light of day for the first time last Wednesday.’
Ms Eberstein, who is mother to Mr Grant’s second child, John, and the wider family are said to be overjoyed by the birth. Her delighted mother Susanne, a judge and prominent left-wing politician, confirmed to Swedish newspaper Örnsköldsviks Allehanda the baby, her second grandchild, had been born.
‘I can confirm that I have another grandchild,’ she said. ‘It is wonderful that we now have grandchildren [more than one grandchild].’
In October it emerged that Ms Eberstein, 37, was pregnant for a second time, although neither party have responded to questions about the paternity of the child. The couple have bought a villa on the Sweden’s south coast to be close to Ms Eberstein’s family, according to Sundsvall Tinding. The Four Weddings and a Funeral actor’s name appears alongside hers on the top line of a publicly available purchase letter for a £600,000 seaside home in Havskontakt in the south-west of Sweden.

While this is one of the most unconventional arrangements I’ve ever witnessed, it doesn’t seem like any of the legal adults have any problems with the strangeness of the situation. And in case you’re wondering if poor Tinglan got the short end of the stick (so to speak) because she’s never been trotted out as Hugh’s official girlfriend… well, Hugh did buy Tinglan a house, allegedly. He apparently bought her a luxurious townhouse close to his home, and to hear him tell it, he’s welcome over at Tinglan’s house all the time, and he sees Felix and Tabitha often. I’m guessing Tinglan got a nice financial settlement and everyone gets along… for now. But Anna might be getting some ideas about finally “landing” England’s version of George Clooney.
