After saying he was planning to back President Donald Trump in the Nov. 3 election over fears that a Joe Biden administration would mean paying higher taxes, 50 Cent appears to have done a full reversal.
This change of mind comes following a harsh callout from the internet and comedian/author Chelsea Handler, who also happens to be an ex-girlfriend. Handler criticized Fiddy on Twitter, then went on The Tonight Show to break down why a vote for Trump is a bad, bad move.
"He says he doesn't want to pay 62 percent in taxes -- which, by the way, isn't a plan of Joe Biden's, that's a lie -- so he doesn't want to pay 62 percent in taxes because he doesn’t want to go from being 50 Cent to 20 Cent,” Handler told host Jimmy Fallon about the man she joked used to be her "favorite" ex. “I had to remind him that he was a Black person, so he can’t vote for Donald Trump, and that he shouldn’t be influencing an entire swath of people who may listen to him because he’s worried about his own personal pocketbook," she said.

Handler hadn't heard back from the artist born Curtis Jackson as of the Tonight Show taping, but 50 secondhand answered her Oct. 24 by tweeting a video of her interview with the message, "a what, another spin, Fu*k Donald Trump, I never liked him," the rapper tweeted after Handler said she might give him another go if he flipped his vote blue.
The turnabout came after Handler offered to pay the rapper's tax bill if he changed his mind in the wake of 50s post that read, "WHAT THE F---! (VOTE For TRUMP) IM OUT,
F--- NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62 percent are you out of ya f------ mind."For the record, Democratic presidential candidate and former two-term Vice President Joe Biden has said that under his administration, he would raise taxes on those making $400,000 or more a year.
Handler and Fiddy briefly dated in 2010 after he was a guest on her E! talk show Chelsea Lately. Before he endorsed and then unendorsed Trump, the "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" MC told James Corden last year that he rejected the Trump campaign's $500,000 offer to appear at the former reality star's 2016 inauguration because "all money's not good money."
