26K Chinese Car.

$26,000 USD is $173,995.91 in Chinese Yuan.

The average middle-class income in China generally ranges from 60,000 yuan (USD $8,965.73) to 500,000 (USD $74,714.40) yuan (CNY) per year.

Car's price tag is cheap for americans but not so much for chineese.

China is a communist - socialist country.... their cost of living is lower and quality of life exceeds our own

lol. China is a military dictatorship. fuck what ya heard. The elite operate only at the sufferance of the military. The drag on every product is probably >70% to the "guv."

Don't believe the hype.

China is trying - and succeeding - in eroding the foundations of democracy.

Can you even get one in the US

No, but BYD is in Europe and now Canada.....

A US deal will be reached within 10 years......

Would I buy one?

Probably not. As stated they are definitely stealing your data and invading your privacy. But hell, Ford and Chevy are plotting to do the same.

That's the thing tho.....

For us to be "the greatest country in the world," China is routinely eating our lunch.

HSR, Upgraded power grid, better EVs, better healthcare, longer lifespan, better quality of life....

Interesting take.
I don't necessarily disagree, since your perspective is supported by the way they silenced and disappeared Jack Ma for "re-education."
The CCP allows businessmen to build massive wealth, permitting you DO NOT SPEAK against or oppose them. A portion of that wealth is then taxed and trickled up to support the CCP. The percentage could be anywhere from 20-50%.

As for the erosion of democracy, I don't think their aim is to compete with it on the global stage, but to keep it from penetrating the psychological Great Wall and planting seeds of rebellion in the minds of the Chinese people (for example, Tiananmen Square).

The minute China arrives expect Ford and GM to file bankruptcy within 3 years. That's what Ford wants. I'm not sure how GM plans to fight China.

Communist government structure.
Capitalist economic model.

Essentially, free enterprise on a very tightrope.
White folks just can't fathom the Chinese economic model... They have as many or more billionaires than we do.. their middle class is twice the size of the US population as a whole.. The thing that makes China different is that their billionaires pay their fare share of taxes as well as the Chinese government giving out football numbers / death penalties for bribing of public officials. China is also making sure that that their billionaires are reshoring their money. Their billionaires don't run the government unlike the ones here..

Yes well, until the orange fool dismantled the executive, judicial, and legislative branches of government, we were still the beast because of our military. We own the seas and skies. For now. That asshole has crippled our advantages.

However, we are China's biggest trade partner. And you don't kill the goose...

They are finding ways to trade without us....

China is planting footholds in Africa, South America and Canada......

In addition to their footholds here, the UK, the Koreas and Russia.......

We've been exposed as a paper tiger...... pretty soon they may come test us if these cacs get too besides themselves.

Well, I've been there a few times and managed to find a few dissidents willing to "talk." The billionaires and millionaires - and everybody else - is rigidly controlled by the military. There are soldiers EVERYWHERE.

And China is a huge country but most of the major cities are on the east coast. Nearly 2 billion people, and the majority of them are farmers. You see them in Beijing or Shanghai gawking like tourists in NYC. Skyscrapers and everythang.

They are petrified of the military government because people disappear on the regular. They're not worried about their citizens. They got them in hard lockdown.

I should be more precise - they want to erode the IDEA of democracy thus causing the ideological crash. They know they can't beat us physically or even inventively but pull that ideology down and its chaos.

You can see a bit of it in this wacko administration's actions.

Nah. Ours is the global currency. Ours is the largest market with the most disposable income.

And we still carry a big stick.

They'll come at us in other ways.

Now, understand, this is with the provision that we vote these fucking traitorous motherfuckers out of office. QUICK.

We don't live in a democracy. We live in a Representative Democracy, big difference.

Democracy is a crappy system. If it was good, we wouldn't be having the problems we are having right now. Socialism, if run right, will be one of the best systems to be under. I think people can govern themselves, to be honest. We really don't need governments. IF everyone is given the shame shit, why you need big brother looking over your shoulder?
