"#FuckTheElecoralCollege" -- but everyone knew before the election what it would take, in terms of the electoral count, to win. Everyone knew that there would be different dynamics in different states. And everyone knew that no state, especially one that a candidate had a reasonable opportunity to win, could be OVERLOOKED, in whole or in part.
We are not, and never have been, a democracy. I don't want a democracy. In a democracy, your life and liberty are quite simply based on the whims of the mob. You cannot have individual rights in a democracy. Unpopular speech will not be tolerated in a democracy.
The President of the United States in the leader of the Federal Government, not the country. The only time the President can intefere in state affairs is when the state is acting unconstitutionally.
That is why many political conservatives (particuarly (sic) Libertarians ) do not want very strong federal governments.
Trump did not win this election, Hillary Clinton lost it.
I also think we would be just as fucked with her in office.
