It still is mind boggling that this is "historic".....:smh: great to see these ladies getting things done however.
 
I feel you on that. But, then again we're still arguing over wether Obama is "black" enough,:smh:

it is what is... I'm around pilots a lot... only know 1 black female pilot. In 10 years my cousin has trained about 18 women only 2 were black (out of over 150 total). When my cousin was in school, I audited or crashed many classes and simulator sessions. I tell you my cousin did not have one female classmate.
Women don't gravitate to certain fields, aviation is just one of them

No doubt. I went to an aviation college. No Black female pilots and only a few female pilots in training.

I was just surprised that the first female crew was so long ago. I would have thought the first all female crew would've been in the late 90's or even early 2000's.
