HOMESTEAD (KDKA) — Police are investigating after a 19-year-old Homestead man was fatally wounded when shots were fired at his home overnight and three other people were wounded in a separate shooting nearby a short time later.
The victim’s mother has identified him as 19-year-old Jamar Finn. She says her son was in the dining room when the shots rang out.
“All we heard was bang. Me and my daughter [we’re] sitting in the living room, all we heard was ‘bang, bang’ coming through the dining room. I didn’t know my son was hit,” said Theresa Finn, the victim’s mother. “I [saw] everybody, my nephew jumping over, and when I went in there, my nephew was telling him, “just hold on, hold on.’”
