Yeah graphic wise things haven't changed that much on consoles. The one thing that has changed for the better is loading times, it's significantly better.
When I built my new gaming rig, I was more impressed with it's emulation abilities than it's graphical abilities.
Although it was built with emulation in mind and I'm still using a 1080p monitor.

Yeah, I was surprised and impressed by Rebirth. Which one did you like better between the final fantasies? That GOW Ragnarok was infinitely better than its predecessor.
Ff16 was good but it was relatively short. Visually it was stunning. Especially with the summons. It was like a movie, no lie.
I’m still playing rebirth, haven’t beaten it and I have over 150 hrs into it. That game is phenomenal. I think I’m heavily biased however because I remember when ff7 dropped back in 97 for ps1. It was the first game that got me into RPG’s. The iconic status of the game is due to the amazing characters and storyline. There is reason why people know who cloud and sephiroth are even if they’ve never played the game. So for OG fans like me, that game is always gonna be in my top ten.
