COLUMBUS, OH (WCMH) - A 16-year-old girl has been charged with murder after a teenage boy was killed in a police-involved shooting last week.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team arrested a 16-year-old female in connection with the shooting death of Julius Ervin Tate, Jr. on Dec. 7.

SWAT officers arranged to buy something from Tate on social media as part of an investigation into a series of armed robberies in the area of Mt. Vernon and North Champion avenues. Police say Tate pulled a gun on an undercover officer, who posed as the buyer, during the meeting. Another officer then opened fire, striking Tate. Tate was transported to Grant Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

According to investigators, the 16-year-old girl has been charged with aggravated robbery and murder for her role in the incident that led to Tate’s death. The girl was arrested Thursday afternoon on East Rich Street.

I'm all for personal responsibility, for the police to execute the guy and charge the girl with his murder is bullshit....:smh::smh::smh:

The police set up an illegal buy which is the only reason the girl would have ever come in contact with the officer, then when things go south they charge her with murder. I think other police set him up
