10 Things Conservatives Don’t Want You To Know About Ronald Reagan

while you have to give Reagan his due, for the overall state of the union versus what he started with post Carter, but you also cant neglect the shit he left also

but I dont get how people who love this dude, forget about the crack era, the destruction of the parts of Latin America, the non attention to the oil standard, Apartheid, the creation of Osama Bin laden etc

no president is perfect, the current one included lol, but lets stop this Reagan love shit :smh::smh::smh:

while you have to give Reagan his due, for the overall state of the union versus what he started with post Carter

Specifically, what are you referring to. The persistent media white washing of Reagan's legacy versus his actual accomplishments are wide. What did Carter leave and what did Reagan clear up?

Care to make the factual nexus ? ? ?

There is NO!!! Factual Nexus QueEx

The perpetual willful ignorance exhibited by the vast plurality of US born citizens when the subject is US foreign policy is stunning. This natural born citizenry’s dogged pursuit of demonstrably false myths and narratives i.e., American Exceptionalism, is an even more horrific spectacle of mass psychosis when one considers the irony that most of these brain-addled humans have an uncensored internet connected device in their pocket or purse which they could use to find out the truth. Or they could READ Overthrow: America's Century of Regime Change from Hawaii to Iraq Sad to say reading is rapidly declining in the brain-washed USA.

One would of thought that like the youth of Egypt, US citizens would use the internet to educate themselves and quickly expose official government lies – but no – most of us are so anesthetized by the narcotic effect of television (corporate media) that we forget that what we are watching is the equivalent of Mubarak’s ‘State Television’ propaganda. Al Jazeera English Cable- not permitted; Robert Fisk newspaper columns- not permitted; Keith Olbermann- not permitted; Paul Craig Roberts columns- not permitted; et al.

Down the ’Memory Hole’ are where truth & facts are discarded by our Military-Industrial-Media-Complex. We see Tea Baggers lecturing on corporate media about ‘founding-fathers’ “working hard to end slavery” even as most of them collectively owned hundreds of black slaves. We see a current Mississippi governor lecturing on corporate media about a civil rights era sans extrajudicial killings of thousands of innocent Black American citizens, no fire hoses, no dogs. He says that the White Citizens Council succeeded today by the Council of Conservative Citizens was actually trying to help Black citizens not maintain white supremacy.

This farcical presentation of BLATANT LIES on corporate media airwaves with the chyron “NEWS” under the talking heads face would not of happened even ten years ago. But now “NEWS” is just a division of the entertainment division. ’Can we get another big lipped blonde on camera 5?...can you raise your skirt a little ‘honey’ and show a little cleavage’

2011 and the Iraq facts have already gone down the memory hole. The Cheney-bush crime family Neo-Con plan was to quickly capture or murder CIA asset Saddam and replace him with Ahmed Chalabi. NO ELECTIONS WERE PLANNED. Before the US Invasion of Iraq, Rumsfeld & Colin Powell told Saddam, If You Leave…Go to Libya or Saudi Arabia….No War. So much for the imminent threat, 45 minutes-to-launch, weapons of mass destruction, mushroom cloud propaganda. EGYPT has NOTHING to do with IRAQ. NOTHING!!

I also read that:

"The story of Egypt's historic uprising has a lot to do with the organizing power of the Internet. It took inspiration from the revolt weeks earlier in nearby Tunisia. And it united a strikingly broad cross-section of Egyptians — students, the working class, conservative Islamists and secular liberals — under the banner of ousting Mubarak and remaking the political order."
. . . and we all know that the internet was invented by Al Gore ! :D

But, the bigger joke is your assertion that "G.W. Bush invented the Egyptian Uprising."

ok we want to be stupid this week... I see...

I guess you don't believe in chain reactions too huh?

I don't have the time, nor energy to intellectually babysit a bunch of grown ass folks.

BTW, the internet been around in the middle east since Clinton. Funny, these type of protests weren't happening then.

Call it a cop out all you want, but if I have to explain how taking out one of the biggest dictator in the middle east could cause a chain reaction to other things *such as the protests in Iran in 2009*, then there is no reason to continue this debate.

I really thought you were up on things. Not to mention, this situation could turn to the worst. So, in actuality, I was giving you someone to blame other than the Blessed Obama. Yet, you need me to map it out...?

The religion of GW!

I don't call it a "cop out", I call it a "tap out". You got put in an mental chokehold and couldn't get out of it so you tapped out.

How is it a peaceful revolution when 400 has died?

It's peaceful because out of millions and millions of people for nearly three weeks, only 400 people have died and those were by the hands of the security detail (Human Rights Watch had the number at 297). They patterned this movement on the the Civil Rights Movement of the 60s here and Gandhi's movement in India before that.

Really? I guess not caring is now considering as losing. Oh wait? Didn't my predictions come true about what was going to happen to Obama if he kept up with his liberal ways. Oh well, when I lose, I win... What gives?

I understand what's going on. The only thing I'm worried about is if the Muslim Brotherhood gets full control down the road. I think that should be in all our concerns.

What is the Muslim Brotherhood?

Let's see, predicting that the sitting President will lose seats in his first midterm election. Great prediction, it's only happened every time in recent history.
If he had really pushed a hard "liberal" agenda, his base would have made a better showing in the midterms and he might not have lost as many seats. The idea that people didn't want Obama, a clear, open liberal, to pursue a liberal agenda once elected is ridiculous on it's face. Then why vote for him and not the other guy?

Damn. You Republicans love your "Muslim boogeymen". The Muslim Brotherhood only scares you guys because you liked to be scared. The MB polls at 15% and have no pull with the military, who are in charge right now.
Turn Rush and FNC off.
