Right on, fam'. Thinking of picking up a set in the next year or two. Got a 40" Samsung 6-series from 2009. Got a couple hundred in Best Buy giftcards ... probably wait for Boxing Day (or week) sales this year or next.

Bruh weNre in the same boat with the Panasonics. I want a newer/bigger tv but my old Panasonic is holding it down.

Once I see a 65 inch at the right price I'll pull the trigger.

Exactly. I stay out of best buy for that exact reason. Afraid ima slip up and buy one. Picture is unbelievable.

They run 5 stacks now, but when the competition gets hip to flat OLED's, they will be half that or less

Right on with the 2009 joint. Got a 2009 LCD. Not a single issue at all. Only minor gripe is the outer frame of the set is peeling back at the top. That's it.
