Yeah Woodley is in a win-win situation.....even if he loses, his ranking SHOULDN'T change AND he's getting a percentage of Gastelum's purse. Out of the last three fights counting this one against Woodley, Gastelum has come in overweight. I hope Woodley KO's him even more now.
 
Yeah - not sure what's going on with Gastellum. He's a well-respected younger cat in the game & has proven himself in recent years. The weight's his main obstacle at this point. Cut ties with DOLCE as he said it was costing him something like 20 - 30% of his pay for dude's nutrition services, yet shit ... he's missed weight a few times already, missed by 10lbs yesterday, and was making his way in the 170lb division, but per Dana he now has to move up to 185lbs. Shit ... what's the latest on JOHN LINEKER at 125lbs? He's missed a number of times as well, and missed by 5lbs yesterday too. He needs to get his shit in order or move up to 135lbs.
 
Kes. Should be interesting to see if he aims to stop him with something highlight reel Matrixesque. Shitty to hear Hettes-Brandao was scrapped from undercard. Saw mention on MMAjunkie that Hettes passed out backstage earlier today.
 
Silva's body looked softer than usual, his chest not as full, despite cutting weight to make 185. Diaz on the other hand looked more cut than usual, even though he's moving up a weight class. I hope conditioning doesn't become an issue. A lot of times you can have some indication of a fighter's training camp from what they look like on the scale and entering the octagon. Hopefully, Silva can make short work of Diaz even though he typically starts slow.
 
Nicely stacked card tonight. Besides the Main card of course, looking forward to Uncle Creepy/Lineker and Brunson/Herman. Couple of real feuds goin' there.
 
Ya'll hear this bitter as CAC Sonnen talking about he predicts a Nick Diaz win and Anderson Silva will retire tonight.
