I think the timing has more to do with the fact that after he is dead there is a renewed interest in the case.

Lets be honest here. Even if the doc is full of lies to make her look like a saint, and him a devil, nothing would come from it with an Alive oJ. Nobody wanted to hear what he had to say about it short of a full confession, and they feel they already had that. She also documented enough in life, via 9/11 calls and diaries, to paint a pretty grim picture of what her life was.

An 18 year who won the lottery by bagging one of the most beloved stars of the time. Got knocked up, got knocked out, finally left him, got threatened, got killed.

Did she hang with fast women? Did she have friends who did coke? Did she sleep around?

All of that is immaterial to the main point of her life. The minute she was chosen at 18 her life was set in stone.
