‘Coming 2 America’ Confirmed to Be Rated PG-13, Unlike Eddie Murphy’s Original Comedy

The movie looks wack. Probably still gonna watch it at home but it looks like Hollywood white washed BS. I don't see how Hakeem got an ugly bitch like Leslie Jones pregnant.

During the date scenes in the original, he never spoke with a woman like that. Plus Lesile has to be like 20 years younger than Eddie. These MFer cant even use logic and have him ucking one of the Bathing girls and gettin her pregnant.

Dude got a kid in a country where he only had sex with his wife. Now he has a BM and a illegitimate kid like the rest of you dusty niggas. Way to turn Hakeem into a deadbeat while his wife is mad to look good by taking it all in stride and even being friends with said BM. We know in real life this aint how it goes down. Those two bitches would be going at it like Red Nose Pitbulls but it Hollywood black women can do no wrong now, while there counter part are made to look stupid/dimwitted and untrustworthy.

Plus the feminist BS of him giving the crown to his daughter because his son is too fucking dumb to be King. Need I remind you aint no bad guy white men or black women. But of course you have a bad black man in Wesley Snipes who is only thing keeping the world from being perfect for everyone.

The subtext in Hollywood movies is disgusting. Black America need to cancel the whole entity and make sure any media produced for black people is by black people we can trust.

Anyone connected to Hollywood should be cancelled in 2021. Why the fuck do we need them to define us??

This.
Especially on the Deuce. We could walk into ANY fucking thing back then, as long as we 'behaved' ourselves.
Shit I seen Jason goes to hell at the theatre at like age 11 with my 14 yr cousin.. the only thing they’d cared about was charging me at adult age prices..I was like listening I’m a kid so I should get charged for kid prices.. chick kept on saying get the fuck outta here you look like you 14/15.. than it didn’t help I was taller than my 14 yr cousin.. when she asked his age she looked at me like so you supposed to be a 11 but you taller than a 14 yr old.. yeah right sir just pay the adult tix price.. they gave no fucks about us both being under age

Shit. NYC theaters was mostly 'anything goes' back then.
Everybody had liquor and weed with them. You could get high just walking into the Kenmore in Brooklyn.
I seen Die Hard in your neck of the woods at the movie theater next to the Apollo. And it for some reason, it was mad kids (11,12 year olds) up in there. I didn't see no parents with them.

Agreed. We had a local video store which was about a 10 min' walk downhill from the crew. Our families just let us have the video rental / membership cards as we were the ones renting VHS tapes & videogames. Hell ... once we got to our teens, we just tried our luck and flat-out rented the porn. They never ID-checked us. We just had to figure out WHEN to go into that room (as it was right to the left of the front door) ... and walk to the other end of the store to rent the shit, then make the walk of shame out of there afterward.

The 90s.

Streetball, renting porn, pre-internet.

I think the world has just been shrunk and is a smaller place because of the internet.
Greater access to sexual and violent media is the only difference IMO.

100% agree. The sheer audacity to even suggest 101 Dalmatians.

Funny thinking back to the old days. Leaving the house in the AM and returning latenight. Being on the bike or on foot all day. Undoubtedly dehydrated. Getting with girls, and denied by others. I remember some days wondering how the fuck we even powered through the day on basically 12 - 1500 calories. Tops.

During the school year - leave the house by 6am. Catch a few buses. Go to practice. Go to class for 6 hours. Skip lunch and hoop at lunchtime. Have a game or practice after school. Go to another practice (different sport) in the evening. Come home. Shower and dinner. Then start homework around 9 or 10pm and rinse, repeat that routine a few times a week.

Summertime ... basically hooping all afternoon, evening. Or all evening after work.

Those forever fucking walks, as you noted, when the bus or someone's car wasn't available.

:roflmao3:

Yeah just read it on wiki.. nyc movie theatres wasn’t shit than.. cause a lot of kids/teens were at them theatres with no parents to see it

I get where you're coming from, Pre-Katrina New Orleans was notoriously lax about a lot of things and as dugington said, as long as we behaved ourselves people looked the other way.

Yeah.. thanks for ya dropping that info though cause I really thought robocop wasn’t rated r even though the movie obviously should’ve been, but due to easy access and every kid I knew saw it in the theatre I thought otherwise.. that movie was must see as a kid and we all laughed when talking about it.. I’ll buy that for a dollar
