AJ brown will still have value after this this years draft since there aren't gonna be a lot of good receivers to get with a team willing to give howie what he wants now for a ready made player who can contribute and help the team right away that's a contender. Howie is smart to get as much as he can if he's gonna trade a talented wide receiver.
He will have value yes but it’s gonna go down if they wait too late. The earlier the better. It’s gonna be tough to pry that 2027 1st they hold it so high. Howie smart but you can only accept what’s offered. It’s only a few contenders that even would trade for AJ. It’s not a plethora of teams.

Howie could also make a big splash and surprising move during draft nigh, who knows.

He used to be 4.27 40 at peak, I do not think he is much slower, even 4.4 speed would make him faster than Brown and Smitty.
That nigga looked like a 4.6 lol….but I mean you know how it is in pads. I just didn’t see it with the Chiefs I’d don’t know if it was injury or what.

Naw it’s not a bad draft you see all them niggas breaking combine records. A lot of athletes for sure. Blue chip prospects? Not as many but that’s just how the draft goes. A year ago they said it was gonna be deep and now they saying it’s weak because them QBs need up being ass.
Yeah, the draft isn't gonna always be deep every year which is understandable.

But it's all about a team needs in these drafts which could be beneficial or not.

It’s solid, but teams are really focusing on getting picks for next year draft. Obviously QB and WR heavy, but a lot of non QBs coming out as well

Yeah I noticed this year's draft got some good D-linemen and O-linemen which is what my eagles need.

Now other teams might need more offense but it won't be much to pick from.

Shout out to Miami. Finally got a good trade.

I mean it won't matter if they don't draft well.

But that's a lot of draft picks to work with.

But keep in mind, Miami had a bunch of high draft picks a few years ago & still "fumbled the bag"
The Trey Lance draft position swap !!!
49ers gave Miami TWO MORE EXTRA, gawd damn 1st round picks off that bullshit
Thats the reason why they were able to get Waddle + Tyreek Hill + Bradley Chubb
.....And they still couldn't get far in the playoffs :hmm:

Yeah but I’d still rather have those picks than not.

Yeah, I know because if they had a good GM with a damn clue of how to build a team then those draft picks would've helped them but like I've said, not every GM is good at drafting talent which is why some teams never get better.

Well played by GM George Patton. Retained 95% of the roster, didn't overpay for anyone in free agency and added an elite wide receiver to the offense in a trade with the draft capital you had stored up. Now teams won't be able to key in on Sutton when we need the big play because they'll have to account for Waddle's speed. The offense is about to go the next level and will be tough to defend. Waddle at 1, Sutton moves to 2. Put Franklin in the slot and Mimms at 4. Then you rotate Bryant and Humphrey in here and there.

Yeah, we gave up a 1st for Waddle but we picked at 30 in the draft and nobody we picked would've given us the level of production that Waddle is going to give you. Now all we got to do is snag a inside middle linebacker in the draft with our 2nd round pick and we're all set.

Crazy shit is it’s gonna be some good inside linebackers around where that 1st round pick will be. Anthony Hill out of Texas is gonna ball.

This draft is deep at inside linebacker so the Broncos will be able to snag one in the second round. If Sonny Styles (Ohio State) is available you definitely snag him. Dude has size, speed and great coverage ability which is what we need.

I find it crazy how people are not understanding why the Broncos gave up what they gave up for Waddle. But next season when they see Bo Nix extending the play and Waddle getting behind the defense, they’ll see why. Broncos were bottom 3 in the league in Wr Separation Rate. GP saw that and made a play. Respect.

I’m on the outside looking in….but for me I just never seen that much compensation for a guy like Waddle.

Pickens got traded for a 3rd
Diggs a 2nd round pick
Davante Adam’s got released by the Jets
DK got traded for a 2nd
Dj Moore for a 2nd

So for me I’m confused for a guy who’s what? A third tier receiver? Maybe second tier? The compensation don’t match.

It’s for sure a bogus trade but like I said earlier if it ends with a SB no one will care. Dolphins just traded Minkah and Phillips for nothing so yeah I’m shocked to see they didn’t give away Waddl.

It will. I’m just saying by the time yall pic in the second it’s gonna be about 10 linebackers gone.

We need to get a tight end too.....

I'm more interested, how they're going to use Pat Bryant though...

I just hope Waddle can stay healthy. We already have an injured prone running back and tight end on this team. We can't afford to have three players on offense to be injured all the time.

As,for how I feel about the trade I thought they should have went another route but it is what it is.

If,Waddle,Engram and Dobbins can stay healthy and Bryant and Harvey have a good second year and Payton stop making idiotic play calling(I understand he won't be doing the play calling but you know he won't help himself) I think the offense can be hard to stop on to of the defense...
