A woman just posted a video saying she’s leaving the U.S. Army after 19 years of service.
People keep telling her the same thing:
“Just stay one more year.”
Because hitting 20 years means full military retirement benefits.
But she says they don’t understand what happened after her deployment to Afghanistan.
According to her, the trauma followed her home and she stayed in a system that “literally broke me.”
Now she says she has nothing left to give.
Her final words in the video:
“I’m done. I can finally take this off. I’m free.”
Then she drops one last line that caught everyone off guard.
“I’m gonna go get my septum pierced.”
Now the clip is spreading online as veterans and civilians argue over the same question:
