Jasmine Crockett announces campaign for Texas Democratic Senate primary

I heard through the grapevine at my job(I work for a law firm) that a lot of powerful Republicans were trying to get their constituents to vote for Jasmine because they felt like she'd have no chance in November. I wonder how many of them followed through with that. There's real fear with them that given Trump's shenanigans that James Talarico can pull it off in November. We'll see. He'll have my vote.

I don't like speaking for others, but the consensus was that they liked their odds better with James Talarico. Felt like he would be more effective and didn't care that he was white. They liked his politics and felt like he'd have a better chance to win in November.

I just don't see the fight in him.

Good and I hope she is receptive to any constructive feedback credible people give her. I’m not in TX, but I gave her money just off the strength of her being a black woman, but I do think there are things she can work on.

We need more black people like her because we know she fight for us.

Actually more Black people need to centralize in select Southern States and take them over. Texas has 5 million Black people and they now essentially have no political power and it seems they will have to vote for whatever white or Latino people say for any State level position.. Hell if HALF of them moved to Louisiana or North Carolina we could turn that shit Black like the Mormons in Utah.
