Jennifer Lopez named most beautiful woman in the world by People - pictures

Jennifer Lopez was designated the "World's Most Beautiful Woman," by People Magazine on April 13, 2011. Lopez, who is a judge on American Idol, took some good natured kidding from show host Ryan Seacrest and fellow judges Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson.

The R&B star, business woman and American Idol judge said while she is lucky to be attractive, true beauty comes from the inside. It is also obvious that the celebrity works on it. She said, in an interview, that she does not drink or smoke because she believes it is bad for the skin.

J-Lo, who rose to fame in the movie Selena, has a successful career in music, movies and entertainment. At one time she was known for her derriere and tempestuous relationships with men. Now, she is celebrated for her glamourous red carpet looks and long mane of brown hair.

The 41 year old star is also a wife and mother. She married Latin singer Marc Anthony in 2004 and had twins.

In 2010, Julia Roberts headed People's Most Beautiful People list. Lopez was one of the top ten people included on last year's list. Julia Roberts leads People's list of most beautiful people.

Lopez is obviously beautiful, especially for her advanced age, and has made a brilliant comeback. Just leave it at that.
