I'd come up out the middle of the ring like The Undertaker butt ass nekkit with The Miz Girl's expression on my face

:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

throw in Daffney and Velvet Sky and it should really be good..hell get Dixie herself in on it

Hell yeah.

No prob, NWA Worldwide was cheesy but entertaining Shane Helms, Shannon Moore, Chris Harris, Air Paris started there before entering WCW. We need more indy's on TV used to watch this and ECW and NWA Wildside (R-Truth,AJ Styles and Abyss received mainstream attention) a decade ago. Can't believe next year is 10 years since the death of ECW and WCW.

I do wish more indies would get some tv. Not a national deal or anything just some local tv on a UHF channel, like the old days.

loved the old intros to those shows

heard this music on the playboy channel sometimes too

:yes::yes:

I was just thinking this last week. The old wrestling intros were classic.
It might also be an 80's thing too. Every show had cheesy music in the late 70's-80's.

I hate the fact that Wrestling has started using hip-hop and licensed music in intros. :smh:

The old themes are memorable while the licensed music just fades into the background. It was cutting edge when ECW did it but it's over now.

~CM Punk's future as a Wrestler "Undecided"~

WrestleZone has learned exclusively that while CM Punk has been scheduled for several house shows in the midwest, his future as a wrestler for WWE is still "undecided."

WrestleZone was told by a key WWE insider, "Vince (McMahon) and (Executive Producer) Kevin Dunn really like Punk on commentary, and they're considering making him a fixture of the broadcast team."

We were also told, "Vince thinks Punk has a future as a wrestler, but it looks like he thinks Punk is far too valuable as a commentator right now, and likes Punk's personality as a commentator a lot more than the Straight Edge character as a wrestler. Remember, Vince thinks Straight Edge is a holier than thou mentality, so Vince takes the heel character to heart."

"On commentary," we were told, "Vince thinks Punk has great timing and thinks on his feet much better than Matt Striker, whose stock has totally dropped in Vince's eyes."

I agree with Vince...Punk has been a Breathe of Fresh Air on Raw

But that's one less VERY good talker and worker in the ring...this should not be a permanent thing. Punk is a great heel.

This.

In my opinion, Punk is one of the better workers in the ring AND without question one of the best talkers (maybe THE best talker currently in the WWE, with Jericho gone for the time being).

Punk's too young to retire for the desk. Unlike Taz, he isn't broken down with injuries (other than the one he's suffering from now). He's got another really good run left and then he can take a spot on the side.

I'm hoping they move Cole from commentary on Raw and Smackdown and promote Matthews or Scott Stafford, the guy they use on Superstars.

After last night nexus has officially been buried imo, i suspect they beat up yoshi tatsu tonight on raw to try and reestablish their heat:rolleyes:

gotta wonder if michael jackson was a big wrestling fan lol

You have to keep them busy until Taker comes back and finishes up with Kane, which must be pretty soon now that the belt's off him.

That was clearly during the time when Flair and Mulligan owned the Knoxville territory. The opening footage was just those two guys.

Reviewers for TLC last night are calling Morrison vs. Sheamus the new Michaels-Razor. High praise. Now let's see if they get behind him properly and put over how huge that match was, like they did the Hardys, E&C, and the Dudleys after their ladder and TLC matches. That's something I think TNA missed out on BIG TIME. The Machine Guns and GenMe had an incredible Full Metal Mayhem match at their last ppv and the next show GenMe were backup dancers (bad ones) to a lip synching Tara, who herself had a hell of a match the night before. Them and the Guns should have limped out there all beat to hell with Taz and Tenay talking about how awesome the match was.

Both of those are proof that either Vince has lost it,would prefer to stick to his cookie cutter wrestlers or just doesn't care about the product as a whole.WWE already has too few wrestlers that you can count on for a good match or promo and by taking Punk away they are making it even more scarce. The solution is simple:bring back JR who is probably the best wrestling announcer of all time.

As for Nexus, they could not have them look invincible and still keep certain guys looking strong so that when the breakup happens they're established. Gabriel,Harris and McGillicutty along with Barrett should all be somewhat protected instead of getting their asses whooped everytime you see them.

TNA has no idea how to keep focus on somebody unless they're in one of the big feuds. Gen Me had a great match and lost and Beer Money became the #1 contenders.Instead of keeping Gen Me strong they job them out to Eric Young and Orlando Jordan the week after the backup dancer stuff.

Maybe Punk should do commentary on Raw and Wrestle on Smackdown.

Crazy shit, right? That's Russo's biggest weakness, among many, his inability to stay on one subject. It's why TNA can't keep guys hot. The Pope was red hot earlier this year and he's cooled considerably and now it looks like they're about to turn him, which makes no sense.

Maybe Punk should do commentary on Raw and Wrestle on Smackdown.

We wish. Whoever he cut that promo on last week will be his first target. I'm hoping Daniel Bryan.

Initially I was thinking Edge since that is who hurt him.Maybe it's Cena based on the crap at the announce table a few weeks back. I heard someone speculate on this on one of the sites.Of course, it's not that I want that since a feud is never good without a true give and take where both parties are on the losing end at some point. And the WWE doesn't like Cena to ever be on the losing end unless it's a 6,7, or 8 on 1 situation.

 to all this. You see Cena is like 100-0 against Jericho and Punk combined and with no SES to cheat, no way he wins and it would be the feud with Big Show all over again.

The problem is they made them look so weak that they can't be taken seriously. I'll be sure to watch raw tonight because i want to see how vince & company explain this bullshit away:hmm:

very seldom I say this but Cena is cracking me up tonite. Him and King are just destroying Vickie.

They need to chill with that Vickie is fat shit.

I also see that they couldn't even let Dolph go over Cena even by cheating. And then to top it off we find out that Punk was talking about Cena though he's hinted at it all nite, nails him with a steel chair and Cena damn near completely no sells.

Exactly i've seen cena catch feelings when hhh called him out on his wrestling ability, and it's common knowledge that vince is insecure about his age but they have no problem crackin on other people. Cenas no sell of punks attack was a joke, especially since he hyped his "destruction" of barrett on numerous replays that showed barrett didn't even get touched by those chairs:lol:. I have no faith in this feud and believe punk will be made to look like a jobber.

They really should ease up with the fat jokes on Vickie. Even if she hadn't lost weight, it's still inappropriate since they market so strongly to children now. Marketing to kids is about more than "no-blood, no cursing".
Dolph didn't even have to win but don't let Cena pin him, especially if you want to draw people to the rematch on Smackdown tonight.

I have a bad feeling about Punk but this is the best chance of him breaking through. This is the make or break feud that will decide if they really see Punk as a top guy or not.

They fucked Kaval again!!!!!!!!! why don't he just ask 4 his papers, since he won NXT, he's only won 1 fucking match!!!!!!!!!!!

Tribute To The Troops was actually good this year and props to the wwe for doing it. They get alot of crap from the "Upper Class" crowd who feel it's an embarrassment to have rasslin for the troops, but these are the same people who are for the war but don't want their kids to go to the military:hmm:

P.S: Diddy being carried around by Big Show is priceless in itself LOL

Kaval has to hang in there. There really isn't anyplace to go right now that can pay him what he is currently getting. The only way I see pushing him is to give him the cruiserweight belt and let him defend it.

That's some fucking bullshit. They could've did something with him, he could've been the next Rey Mysterio, meanwhile they still got dead weights like Goldust, The Great Khali and his translator, Zack Ryder - who are all pretty much joke gimmicks - The Bella Twins and the handful of other divas who'll never get the Divas title until Melina gets injured again.

Vince needs to retire because now it just seems like he doesn't know what he's doing. No cruiserweight division, no real tag teams, terrible storylines, unused talent.

I wish another federation would get a TV deal

This is just more proof of Vince's fascination with cookie cutter talent. They threw Kaval out there on NXT to fill a slot and put him with Laycool which was a joke in of itself. In spite of them he not only filled a slot he won the whole show. So then they decided to bury him every chance they got instead of pushing a good wrestler who the fans embraced.

Result:He's fired.Even though he got himself over initially and even though he won a show that's supposed to be about finding a new star while establishing him at the same time.

didnt he just job out to someone on Smackdown..?

To Drew Mcintyre. With Kofi being the only face midcarder thats over, Kaval should have gotten a pushed. Instead of pushing Kaval they decided to move Ezekiel Jackson over to Smackdown to fill the void.

Hence, the reason I no longer get my hopes up in regards to the WWE (and especially not TNA). Although occasionally they'll do something I REALLY like in the WWE these days, there are more things that irk me than anything else (this release is a great example of that). Hope he swings through Chikara in the near future to be used properly against talent of various styles (which is also the first places that Christopher Daniels and Bryan Danielson went when they were released over bullshit).

I get the whole, "but, working in WWE means more exposure and therefore he's feeding his family. You should hope that ends up there," argument, but when I'm watching a match my eyes only see he's getting squashed every in front of an apathetic crowd (and can you blame them they way he was being used?), whereas my could be seeing him working in front of an appreciative crowd with him being booked properly in a place like Chikara.
