im kind of the same mind as you. take the creed house for example. when you sample them, you can tell that the finest ingredients go into making them, almost to the point that the fragrance is "transparent" if you get what im saying. if silver mountain water
cost $60 to $100 i would buy that shyt right now. it smells "cold" if that makes sense & is a great summer scent. the thing is that a 4 oz bottle of creed cost $250. i cant justify that purchase. i mean, if you buy a $1500-$2000 suit, it looks like an expensive suit. no one knows how much your cologne costs unless you tell them. furthermore, you dont have to spend 1/5th of that to smell fresh when there are much more inexpensive alternatives. plus dont get me started on the longevity....
