Major cities in those countries, yes most of them speak a mixture of their native language and English. I have yet to meet a lower to middle class common German person that can speak German and Farsi, or German and Japanese, etc. I've lived in many parts of the world and if not for job reasons or schooling purposes (Science, Professors) most citizens speak their native tongue and English. English is learned because it's become known as a universal language of business. Back in the early days in these other countries, only the wealthy and highly educated learned English and during wartime; opposing faction leaders would converse with each other in English as they knew their less educated field soldiers would not understand what was being said. It was a way to separate the classes.
You should learn it because commerce is world wide. It thinking like yours the reason that we can't compete. You want everything handed to you. You think in this gobble market you can just get by by talking one language. Your children are fucked with thinking like yours. You best learn how to speak mandarin and portuguese.

I agree with your statements. I am living in Miami, and some people don't even TRY to speak English to you and that is irritating,legal or illegal. But at the same time, we are one of the few industrialized countries who only speak one language and think its cool
. We need to do better. I am learning Spanish right now,trying to get better at it so I can compete down here (have to adapt to your surroundings). After I get a good grasp of Spanish I'm learning Portuguese. After that who knows either Chinese, Japanese or Arabic. I want to be able to get around and be able to read stuff on my own and speak to people without translators.

America is the only country, and i mean the only country that handles its immigration issues in the manner of which its handling them. But.....you cant blame the arrogant illegals. You should blame the corporations that cater to them. You should blame your US government and local politicians that allowed this shit to get out of hand.
Most of the illegals that I come in contact with in Chicago, and I know theyre illegal because they tell me, are very arrogant. A lot of them, not all, think its their people i.e. the illegals against the entire USA. So in their minds, theyre the ONLY victims. They feel theyre the one's doing the right thing, gaining a better life via breaking the laws, and everyone else that doesn't approve of their conduct is wrong.
The people thats doing the wrong are the people that never suffer....that excludes me and you.

Sounds like you have a issue with about learning Spanish more than anything else -- one of the easiest fucking languages on earth if you are good at english. Try to learn Latin or even Chinesse.....besides in high school a foreign language(yes I took spanish) is required so if you want your children to have an advantage why not express the importance of learning it.

I've mentioned this before how these lowlife motherfuckers even had people working inside the DMV selling SSN's. It's not going to stop because the corporations won't let it they are saving tons of money fucking over the future of America with all the undercutting and out sourcing and the government doesn't want to do anything about it either; the Cali-Mexico border patrol has been under staffed and under equipped for years and they will not hire anyone. I've applied TWICE and I thought with my experiences and references I would for sure get in......and the Drug Trafficking only gets worse.

We won't capitalize off that because too many of us are in prisons. Also, Latinos are already the largest minority group in the country. Look for them to outpace blacks in all aspect of society. They know how to work...something that a lot of black folks refuse to become acquainted with.

The real issue is the AMERICAN BUSINESSES who continue to keep hiring them AND by ALLOWING THEM to speak spanish AND market their services to Latinos IN SPANISH! Those are the ones allowing it. The first part I totally agree with. But that amnesty crap is for the birds. That would mess everything up. That would mean millions of ppl who now have an equal footing when it comes to jobs and the benefits of being an American. I don't know any illegal Mexicans here trying to go to school or here on a work visa. I understand that they have families and homes and a life here, and believe it or not but they aren't sending a dime back home. And on a human level that's the problem. Do you deport someone renting a house whose kids are in school and the parents are working? Now, the young ones, they are at the strip club or bar on the weekends cakin.
Now the only thing I like about what AZ is doing is that they are forcing America to actually deal with a powder keg issue. Unfortunately, the media has screwed the focus up. Obama can't deal with an issue that is institutionalized into our economy. Businesses small or large have the perfect setup. Starting pay with the company I work for(3rd party logistics) in the Atlanta area is $10.50. The Mexicans all work for a 4th party company in the same warehouse starting off w/ $7.50-8.50 as an order puller, or $0.17 per pound loading trucks. That situation is the problem, by the Mexicans being allowed to work forces the wages to be stagnate. Why keep up with inflation and cost of living (an increase we haven't received in 3yrs) when you can contract out the labor and not have to worry about benefits and insurance. In turn keeping profits up and cost down for the major share holders. And if you don't like it, you can go look for a job in a market w/ 10.8% unemployment.
As far as a small business is concerned, you're paying cats off the books. What do I need to explain about that?
