Beat the Heat. This team is starting to take shape. With the Magic signing Q-Rich, they (more than likely) have said bye-bye to Reddick and Matt Barnes, both of whom are on the Bulls radar (reddick signed the offer sheet) and Barnes will sign after Reddick's deal clears this Friday!

The Bulls Roster will look as such:

Rose (All-Star)
Reddick/Korver
Noah (Potential All-Star this year)
Boozer (Definite all-star in the east)
Deng

Bench:
S. Livingston/Acie Law
Reddick/Korver
Brad Miller (Likely)/O. Asik (This kid has turn up the Euro-League)
T. Gibson (1st Team All-Rookie)
M. Barnes/Johnson

This team adds a Boozer and O. Asik to a team that led the league in blocks and rebounding. The team adds shooting with Korver and Reddick (likely). Deng will continue to give his same (18 and 5). And the all-star Rose will be much more effective with added shooting and low post scoring.

I see them winning 60-63 games and having enough size, shooting, scoring and rebounding to out-last the heat (as currently constructed).

What yall think?

i think they have the ability to beat the hawks, as for the heat, celtics and magic. not so sure. if their shooters are on, then maybe, just maybe they can upset the magic. But defensively, they will have trouble guarding both lebron and wade. They will have a great season though.

Bulls come out of one of the deepest free agent markets with nothing.

Noah is not a center but a power forward playing center.Bulls go out and pick up another power forward in Boozer.

Korver led the league in 3 pt percentage but averaged 7 ppg.

Bulls won't get out the 2nd if they make it that far.

i'd like 2 see them succeed a grew up a bulls/heat fan and I really want Rose 2 become the monster he can be
however I dont know bout beating the heat but i'm loving the idea of the series being classic

How you figure Noah isn't a Center. He averaged 11 boards a game and is a good shot blocker. He also ate Shaq and Illgauskas alive in the Cavs series.

If you look at the success of the fianls teams, they had superior size. The Bulls have
Noah, Boozer, Gibson, Asik, Miller (likely). Teams are going to have a hard time scoring at the basket and rebounding. The Bulls made the playoffs with Rose and Noah hurt last year and now they will have enough scoring and shooting to be much more efficient.

Wake me up when they get a 2 guard. You're not a real contender with JJ Redick at the 2. I think Magic re-sign Redick.

What's this second round bullshit. these fucks will not make the playoffs and i'm from chicago. Sorry fucke still trying to hang on to deng, gave up kirk for NOTHING lost gordan last year got NOTHING. And you got a new coach and didn't get shit from the free agent market but boozer and u nigga's think they can make a push. they are in the same shape as cleveland.

And chicago fans are so use to mediocrity that they think rose and noah are the truth fuck outta here! anothe losing season for another chicago teams. You can line thses pussies up right behind the bears and cubs.

you would be better off watching the fucking fire this year.
and real talk i'm not sure if these fuck could hales high school team.:hmm::hmm:

They gone be softer than cotton candy in the middle. Teams will stay making highlight dunks/game winning shots on them.

They're rumored to be in talks with Josh Howard.

Josh ain't no 2 but personnel wise I like the move. That's a big move if Bulls pull that off. I'm rooting for the boy Josh. What he went through in Dallas was unfortunate. He needs a fresh new start. Wiz are rebuilding. Bulls are contending and hopefully can give him that much needed fresh start. But he gotta step settling for his jumpshot because its not that hot. Its too inconsistent.

Watch Basketball much? You mean to tell me that they added a legitimate 20-10 guy, and outside shooting, and yet they are going to be worse off than last season? GTFO :hmm:

They're going to make the playoffs by default in the sorry ass Eastern Conferenc. Magic, Heat, Celtics are locks. Bucks gonna be there. Bulls gonna be there. Hawks gonna be there. I mean there about 7 good teams in the East. Some team is going to get into the playoffs with 10 games under .500.

whos guarding wade?

You know good and well that you need to take Spols off of that cruise. He will come down with a mysterious illness, suffer a deadly motorcycle accident, or some other unforseen circumstance as soon as they go on their first winning streak. Riley will find a way to be the coach.

Oh, and if they lose back to back in the preseason he's fired, too.

they arent beating the heat:smh:

Maybe not. But i'm not handing the Heat shit until I see them play. There's only one basketball. You can fill the team up with Wades if you want give me the team with the star player and solid role players over the team with 3 MVP contenders. Heat aren't going to live up to the hype. I can already see it now. Niggas going to be labeling Lebron a choker and shit.

Bulls got a TEAM on them. As the Thunder proved last season you can't just concede shit. They gave it to them Lakers and the Bulls can give it to them Heat. Will they beat them? I don't know. But the Bulls can potentially make noise this year. I wish they would've done more than bring in Boozer but the offseason is still going.

I'm saying though. That's why I thought a Lebron was a fool for not going to the Bulls. He's on a great team and he's the #1 option. But I think I gave Lebron too much credit. I don't think he wants to be the #1 option. I don't think he wants the legacy. I think he just wants a title for marketing purposes. He's all about marketing.

The Heat don't have a team on them and never will because there's only one basketball and Lebron, Bosh and Wade are at their best when they have the ball in their hands. You asking Lebron and Bosh to be role players to Wade? That shit is gonna fail. A team like the Celtics gonna get in their ass and people are going to wonder why. Because the Celtics are a TEAM and the Heat are a All Star team. But like I said, I like the move for the Heat. It gives me that team to root against again.

I feel you. While I feel that Lebron had the right to go wherever he wanted, I do believe in the end he'll regret his decision. I think he wanted to play alongside a friend, and it helps that it's on South Beach.

As you said, winning in Chi would've been better for his legacy. Not only would he had been the #1 option, but with our history, it's a more storied franchise than the newer Miami Heat.

Had he come to Chi, along with Boozer, I think it gives him a better chance than what this Heat team will have. I honestly expect the Heat to not live up to expectations. I will bump this thread at the end of the season when they get knocked out of the playoffs.

he didnt want to play in chicago because they wanted to build "their" team.
that was "chicagos" team.
if he won in chicago he would have to win 7 because people would always say "he still aint jordan"
he would be in mjs shadow even more so.

I'm tired of this shit noah is a garabage man, boozer never won shyt and rose is too retarded to ever win a title. stop overating these bums.

What yall think?

That starting line up only has one cat that can create his own shot off the dribble, without a solid big you're gonna need at least two dudes that can create their own shots.

Plus Korver is more swingman/small forward than SG so you'll have mismatches all over the place that don't work to your advantage. You're relying on Korver/Reddick to consistently d-up quicker SGs and expecting Noah to consistently d-up quicker SFs and you're still be undersized in the paint.

They won't win 19-20 more games in that scenario.

we need a top tier wing player reddick and korver are better than decent but we need a top top 2 guard or small forward who can create his own shot n hit the open j as well as play good to great d

Hell he is the one who said the other day they will win 3, not 4 not 5 not 6 not 7 and on an on. The pressure is on regardless where ever he went to. I said it before and I will say it again, someone will eventually have to come to the Bulls, instead of using the excuse that Jordan played there and they will have to win more championships than he did. I don't see no one not going to the Lakers or the Celtics because Magic, Bird, Wilt C, Jerry West, and a bunch of other Hall of famers who played for those franchise's. His legacy will be good if they win championships in Miami but it would of been better if he had came to the Bulls and won championships.

I still love the Bulls, mad they still didnt go get that all star 2guard they been needing.
At least a man that can stick somebody like Pierce, Wade or a Durant type.
I'm not gone bad mouth em but I hope they get a man better than Deng cause he gets his ass tore off on the regular.

i can't forgive his punk ass for this

Life long Bulls fan but here is the honest truth of why top tier 1 free-agents shun Chicago. Go back to 1998 after the Bulls win their second 3-peat. The owner and management was on some "players don't win championships, organizations do" logic. So they decided to blow up the squad and send MJ and Phil Jackson away. Throughout the entire run the two Jerry's Krause(GM at that time) and Reinsdorf(owner) was reaping the benefits of an underpaid MJ and Pippen. The reason why top free agents don't come here is because of Reinsdorf(also owns White Sox) and he was the common denominator. There is no way that MJ should not be in the Bulls organization in a very important capacity. The fact that he isn't proves that Reinsdorf is a tight jew. So when free agents think of Chicago guess who they ask about Chicago, yeah you guessed it MJ and Pip. Reinsdorf should have rode with Jordan and not Krause. MJ made the Bulls a great franchise by his name Brand alone. So when free agents saw how Jordan got dissed by Reinsdorf they be like "if Jordan can be underappreciated then where does that leave me". So in closing as long as Reinsdorf is the owner the Bulls will continue to miss out on top tier free agents.
