As soon as Jordan retires its two niggas who people make the argument are better than Mike, but nobody would dare say any PG is better than Magic. Only player ever than could play all 5 positions...
Stop. There are multitude of players..several that Magic could choose from...but he and other all-time greats consistently and almost unilaterally select Jordan as the GOAT and they are players from several eras.

Magic Is The Best Basketball Player Ever. It Didn't Matter What Coach He Had, What Teammates He Had, Or Who He Was Facing, He Was Gonna Win. His Basketball Iq Is By Far Greater Then Most That Have Played The Game. Jordan Could Not Have Won With Out Phil Coaching Him. You Could Not Put Mike On Any Team And They Could Win A Championship, But I Bet Magic Could. Jordan Won Nothing Until Phil Came And Put The Right Players Around Him. I've been saying Magic was the G.O.A.T. for years. You know how people say "what if Magic had Jordan's athletic ability?" He would have probably avaraged 35pts/13ast/18reb for his career. I got one for ya. What if Jordan had all his athletic ability with Magic's game?

@ different things They both were better than one another. Overall Player, Jordan was. Defense & Offense, able to take over a Game, Jordan. Magic could control a Game from the start & determine most of the time which direction the game would go end. Magic was a better Passer & Rebounder. Who would i want on My Team, Jordan no doubt. He does way more than Play Basketball. He's a money Making Machine in many areas.

Their is no hand-check rule because everyone nowadays is bigger, faster, and stronger. If these mutants could hand-check nowadays the scores would rarely top 100.

Even when he retired, Houston won with a hall of game big man in Hakeem, and then look at the rest of the title teams since then (besides the 2004 Pistons which broke a lot of conventions)

I get what you saying but this really doesnt apply to this situation when discussing basketball. Magic, Bird, etc were highly competitive cats that werent humble about their games. Magic and Bird often discussed how much shit they talked to each other about the game during their run with the Dream Team. They also said they debated players, teams, etc... they thought they had better TEAMS than Chicago but they all said they conceded even personally that make, individually, was a better basketball player than them hands down. Magic has always said his Laker team was better than the Bulls... because he felt he could be out and the Lakers still had lots of weapons but you couldnt say the same about the Bulls.
Bird and Magic dont concede shit. They are telling the damn truth...Jordan was a better basketball player and completely transformative. He changed the game man.
