Anderson Cooper andDr. Sanjay Gupta gets enormous respect from me. Gupta went there to report but ended up performing brain surgery and helping the wounded while reporting

AC is that dude..

but the whole time I was like.. take of his shirt and stop the bleeding... wtf!!!!

all we need now is Geraldo to take his ass down there so they can jump his ass and take his head off.

Props I guess?

Ummmm could have easily been staged, reporters do shit like this all of the time. I would believe it if the camera caught him in the middle of a fight.

If anyone needs to check AC's realism credentials, just go look at some of his reporting from N.O. during Katrina.

Regardless of his orientation, Dude is my favorite reporter on ANY network. He is the best out of em all in my opinion.

I have a feeling we going to be seeing a lot more of these rescue type of stories.

Interesting.

On some real shit, those store owners need to ante up. All that shit on their shelves will do them no good in a disaster area fill with desperate people. GIVE THE PEOPLE THE SHIT, ASSHOLES! It's doing you no good. And won't do you any good 'til who knows when. But it will do others plenty of good. Give it up smooth and quit being stingy!

Good job Anderson! Poor kid :smh: (waits for all the conspiracy heads to say this was just an example of the white man pretending to save people in need.) <-----

It may not be as simple as that.

Those storeowners may be in debt for the inventory and haven't been give any promises by their creditors...
the stores may be owned by white Haitians and they gave orders not to release any goods...
they may have been told by the US that they would distribute the goods to prevent looting...

who knows?

this dude is alright by me.

Don't fall for the cheap stunt. Whites are notorious for this s**t.

political correctness and reality are clashing all over the place with these stories...

haiti is a cutthroat and violent place and has been for a very long time...a disaster won't erase that.

I agree! He just reports the facts and let you figure it out I like that about him - doesn't take sides...

All well and good although there's nothing wrong with questioning intent and sincerity.

Surely we remember Sean Penn's misadventures in New Orleans with his ready made cameras rolling.
